> 24 hourI like this keyboard a lot but I feel like it’s not really bright. Not sure if the pictures may it look a lot brighter but in person, doesn’t feel so bright. Nonetheless still love it! PS: the key cap set up is one of their ideas!

> 24 hourIll be honest. Ive sort of avoided KLIM for awhile. As far as budget mechanical keyboards go, I had heard some good things, but I was never a fan of the look of many of their keyboards. Then, I saw this keyboard and figured Id give it a go. Not only am I impressed with the looks of this mechanical keyboard, but I am impressed with just about every feature so far. It punches way above its weight class in price and ticks all the right boxes when looking for a good budget (or any) mechanical keyboard. Here are some obligatory bullet points. WHAT I LIKE: -Hefty build. For an all-plastic keyboard, this is the heaviest I have had so far. -Great switches. I imagine these are KLIMs own switches and they feel very nice. The brown switches have the patented tactile bump but are still much quieter than blue, clicky switches. The key travel is nice and actuation is balanced and consistent across all keys -Very customizable: This keyboard comes with all-white keycaps, which gives you the ability to replace all or just a portion of the black keycaps with white ones. For example, you can just replace the most-used keys (for example WASD for gaming) with white keys. The keyboard also comes with a nice keycap remover and switch remover, and the base is removable. -Even the USB-A to USB-C cable included is a nice cable. Its pretty thick and fairly long (maybe 5 feet). -Good lighting features and the LEDs are diffused and hidden quite well. Ive used many cheaper mechanical keyboard in which you can see the actual LEDs from just about every angle. I tried to actually see them with this keyboard, but couldnt. The lighting is done well. And another positive is that it has a static color mode. I dont know why this feature seems to be missing from so many mechanical/gaming keyboards Ive used, but its a nice touch. And this KLIM keyboard has it. -Latency seems low, though I havent actually measured it and the battery has lasted several hours for me so far. The battery is rated at 2000mAh and charges in about 3-4 hours. WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED -Quick guide. You know the guy who never read directions right away? Yeah, Im that guy. But, hey, if you give me a quick guide, thats what Im using. The problem is it lists the buttons to use for Bluetooth, which I always prefer over a USB-port thieving dongle, but doesnt mention the fact that you have to turn the keyboard over and switch it manually to Bluetooth mode, which brings me to bullet No. 2 ... -Bluetooth: You have to manually switch between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth mode. Ive seen this many times on cheaper devices, and this is technically a budget keyboard, but still, it would be nice if the Bluetooth button was smart enough to automatically switch it to Bluetooth mode. I dont understand it. If it knows I want to use Bluetooth, why cant it just automatically switch? -And, finally: spring ping. Its that echo you get after lifting the keycap after every stroke. Ive only really noticed this in cheaper mechanical keyboards, and this one has it pretty bad. Its not as bad as some others Ive used, but its quite noticeable. -The off switch does not work while charging. If -- like me -- you use a portable charger to charge your battery while using Bluetooth mode, the off button does not work. If anything is plugged in and you flip the switch on the back to off, the keyboard will still function normally. The only way to turn the keyboard off while charging is to physically remove the USB cable. -Battery percentage is in accurate. Ive also noticed this with other budget keyboards so I dont know if its an issue with Windows 10 or an issue with the software used in these keyboards, but when using Bluetooth, Windows will report 0 or 1% battery life it the USB cable is plugged in while using it wirelessly. Overall, however, the positives vastly outweigh the negatives. Im typing on it now and its a pure joy. If youre going down that mechanical keyboard rabbit hole as I am and are looking for a good tactile keyboard to try out, Id highly recommend this KLIM Shift keyboard. Its a great value.

> 24 hourI have a gaming rig which needs a small gaming keyboard that I can disconnect the cord and use wirelessly when needed. This keyboard fits the bill and has a lot of versatile features. I can use bluetooth or wireless connectivity depending if I am gaming or just surfing without the cord. The bluetooth feature allows a memory of 3 devices so I can quickly connect to other devices such as my iPad or iPhone. The keys are smooth and responsive to my inputs. The keyboard itself has a small footprint but it has some heft to it. Ive used other compact keyboards which feel like toy plastics. This feels like a quality build. This keyboard also includes the dedicated arrow keys (as well as delete, page up, page down). Some other compact keyboards require a modifier key to use the directional keys which can slow you down. You can use a customizable app to program macros on your keyboard. It also comes with a second set of (white) keys to use as replacements or just change the look of your keyboard. All in all, I really like this wired/wireless compact keyboard.

> 24 hourKLIM Shift Wireless Mechanical Keyboard 60% + Hotswap, RGB, Extra 69 keycap Set + Backlit Keyboard Mini Wireless 2.4Ghz & Bluetooth 60% Percent Gaming Keyboard + PC Gamer Win/Mac + New 2022 This is such an impressive board. It comes with two sets of keycaps and the overall quality is fantastic. The budget brown switches stock are pingy with unacceptable levels of spring noise. When properly lubed, they sound very nice. Not very smooth, though. Overall has has a crisp feel with a high actuation point, not much stem wobble. The brand is Jixian, and they are pretty much as budget as can get. Surprisingly good though. The board sports a tray mount design as expected, with a daughter board for the USB-C port and power switch. There are a lot of nice little design choices that sets this board apart from a sea of competitors. The top plate is steel, not aluminum, and this is by design as the top skirt has magnetic inserts for easy removal. I hate skirts that have those plastic tabs that make it a pain to remove. This one just easily comes off given the magnetic design. Very impressive!! There is also a dedicated magnetically secured slot for the 2.4G wireless dongle. Has two step adjustable flip out feet. The PCB has north facing RGB LEDs and plate mount stabs. The stabs are well lubricated and silenced surprisingly well stock out of the box. The stabilizer inserts have flat feet that do not need clipping, either. The case has very little space for accommodating much dampening material, and the included foam is thin with I think minimal impact. Better than nothing though. It would be difficult to place a butyl rubber dampener, only probably the thinnest ones that are available. Doing a silicone pour or adding plastilina clay might work, or just simply add some poly fill. The board does many things just right, and it is clearly evident that KLIM has put together a very successful, thoughtful, and polished offering.

> 24 hourI really enjoy using this keyboard in my setup, very premium feel, very cool effects, and very heavy (not made out of cheap plastic). I totally recommend this keyboard, and it was totally worth the money!

> 24 hourAfter having tried a bunch of different mechanical keyboards I can say that for the money this is by far my favorite one. I wanted a Wireless (both BT and 2.4g) along with wired use for those times when its just easier to plug into the computer directly, I also wanted a good backlight that wasnt a set non changing RGB like some of the others in this price range tend to have so I could set it to blue when just typing and change it to RGB RAINBOW EXPLOSION MODE when it is gaming time or to show it off. I also wanted to have the ability to hot swap the key switches in it so I could pick the best switches or even combination of switches for me. These wants tend to lead to looking at things like firstblood and keychron keyboards that cost $60-200 for similar layout and features and mind you thats on sale prices so in the under $50 price range its always pick 2 of your three wanted features situation. BUT NOT WHITH THIS KEYBOARD! I didnt have to make the compromises that a 60% board has like lack of standalone arrow keys and lose of the DELETE button which can become a pain when trying to deal with anything in the BIOS at boot when its missing. I didnt HAVE to pick which switches I wanted to start like with a non hot swap keyboard. I am currently typing this on a KLIM with the switches swapped out for Gateron Blue clicky switches with glorious o rings under the white keycap set that comes with the board, a great experience typing and I can get about 5-8 WPM faster on monkey type with it than I can with my other keyboards. This is the one I have on my desk at work. I love the clickies I put in but they arent for everyone, I recommend getting a switch sample pack if you want to try a few different styles. I have another one of these boards with the stock brown switches installed in it that I hand lubed and then put a round keycap typewriter style keycaps on for my wifes gaming keyboard and she LOVES IT! but she didnt like the browns for the WASD keys when gaming but for all the others so just WASD are Black linear switches now.. THIS IS THE WONDER OF HOTSWAP! Now onto my third one of these keyboards, its basically stock out of the box minus swapping on the white keycaps that came with it and I can say that it is a great starting keyboard. This is going to be my board that stays with brown switches as my all around travel keyboard as it really is a greet all around board to start with and just does everything well. good for both gaming and typing. Then the 4th board, I just finished putting hand lubed Gateron Red switches into it last night and I am still seating the O-ring around the key stems (these arent needed but add a nice cushion at the bottom of the key stroke.) and as far as I can tell so far its VERY nice but the Red switch was a bit light for the space bar so I ended up installing a Black switch in it to give more support. And then the fifth board I literally just ordered is going to be a black switch board when I am done with it as I want to basically have the same keyboard with all the different switches I want to ty so I can be 100% sure I get what I want and when you look and compare it to something like a Ducky One SF keyboard at $150, a Keychron Q2 at $200 (wired at that ) or even the keychron K2/K6/K14 at $80-100 I can say that I have yet to see a single reason to switch up.. If you are looking for a great keyboard to start into the world of hot swap or just want a great typing keyboard for any and all situation GET THIS ONE. Dont be me and waste $$$$ trying everything you can just to find these later. Brand that I tried and are WORSE by far regardless of price. MambaSnake 84 key non hot swap (both blue and red switch versions), Ziyou Lang 87 key TKL non hotswap blue switch (cost more BTW and much worse), Ziyou wireless 60% keyboards with Reds, Blues and Brown switches non hotswap so I ended up with 3 of them, TEWELL 60% blue switch, Macgee 68 key 68% non hot swap, and E-YOOSO z-686 65% hotswapable WIRED 65% keyboard (like this one) but costs just as much and is wired only. Best part is the first of the KLIM boards I got was about #4 in my excursion into keyboards and no mater what I got or how I modded the others, I ALWAYS ended up back on the KLIM as it just worked every time no matter what I needed and the ability to have the 2.4G to my PC, BT1 to my laptop, BT2 to my phone BT3 top my tablet and not have ANY issues switching is just amazing. They are every kind enough to make a nice quality shortcut list that can be saved for later if you want to change the keycaps as must aftermarket keycaps wont have things like the function keys marked on the caps any more but it isnt really an issue as they are A) easy to remember and B) the list works well when you forget which key is bluetooth reset or the like. Seriously STOP SHOPPING AND BUY THIS BOARD!!!!!!!!

> 24 hourI really like this keyboard just because of its customization. I have an Xbox and it was really hard to find a keyboard that I could customize on the fly. This keyboard has red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet and each of the colors are great and stand out but the colors are slightly off compared to other LED and RGB devices in my setup. The sound of the switches are great but they get louder the more you click them. The keyboard also supports up to three bluetooth devices that you can switch between on the fly. I like the vibrant RGB when using the white key caps. The key caps have a very nice texture as well. But there is a few things that I dont like and that could be improved. - Black key caps dont show RGB very well - key cap puller scrapes the keys when removed - do NOT use the switch puller EVER -keyboard doesnt support separate USB-C cords for charging

> 24 hourBought this on a whim to use with my Steam Deck in a setup. Its quickly become my go to keyboard for all my devices. Its solid, feels good, has good key travel and sound, good battery, and good RGB. The frame is magnetic, it comes with a second set of keycaps in white, and comes with a magnetic slot for the 2.4 Ghz receiver. I could not be happier with this keyboard. Im adding KLIM to my list of KB companies to watch.
