Klipsch RP-450C Center Channel Speaker - Ebony

The best center channel Ive heard to date. Clarity and definition with ability to handle anything thrown at it. Very little break-in time needed and the end result is a very satisfying sound. Not bright or warm, just a nice neutral that blends well with others.

I can only say wow dont think about this one just buy it !!!!!! sound is un believable !!!!!!

I went from a $125 10+ year old center speaker to the Klipsch RP-450C, and the result has been fantastic. It has changed my 7.1 surround system dramatically. I never knew my system could sound this good. I should have done this upgrade a long time ago. While the speaker is big and heavy, I have been very pleased.

Generally it looks like a quality build. However, Im sending this back as the horn distorts reproducing a womans voice or piano notes. It does so at all volume levels. I bought a replacement from Crutchfield and its doing the same thing. It seems to be nominally related to the source material. With high quality CDs such as those from Sheffield or Concord Jazz, the buzz/rasp/crackle is far less. Nevertheless is is there. Its absent in the horn tweeters on the main Klipsch speakers and the height speakers of my 7.2 Denon driven system. Im a little disappointed and will be calling Klipsch.

Excellent packaging/shipping. Ordered this to replace another Klipsch center speaker. I have a dedicated surround sound system, wanted a little more response on center. This has 4 woofers, 2 on each side of tweeter. Sound is good as expected. Be aware, this speaker weighs 32 lbs, so make sure stand can support it.

After months of research, speaker auditions and returns I have found the perfect center speaker for. I didnt want to spend a whole lot but the deal on the klipsch rp-450c I just had to give it a shot. I was blown away when upgraded to the rp-504c at not additional cost because it was previously out of my budget. HUGE thanks to Sound Distributors!!

I had the rc52 ii from an old system and upgraded my fronts to rp280fs. I bought this center to complete the set. Money well spent.

Good value and great match for other Klipsch horn loaded speakers. Powerful enough to deliver clear speech for movies without being drowned out by other channels. Now that it has a very big cabinet.

This is a BEAST. It is heavy and takes up 90% of my stand. The sound is crisp and clear. I moved my Polk Audio CS10 up to my bedroom. I paired this monster with the Polk Audio RT12s, two Klipsch 12s and four Klipsch surrounds.

I had always had aspirations to one day get this and was glad I did.
