Knitters Pride KP140303 Zing Double Pointed Needles Set-Socks Kit, Multi

I am enjoying the needles very much. Slick, but not so slick that I worry about them slipping out of the stitches. The joins from the needle tips to the main part of the needle are nice and smooth. I like the color coding because 1. the colors are pretty; and 2. the different colors also keeps me from mistakenly using needles of different sizes on the same project. The tips are not as pointy as Knitters Prides Karbonz needles, but that is fine for how I work.

I bought this set in order to help me knit socks. My only complaint is that size 4 DPNs were not included in the set and some knitting patterns do call for that size often enough to warrant their inclusion in a set specifically designated as a sock set. Other than that I like the different needle colors - much easier to grab the correct color needle than sorting through seemingly identical needles to find the right one! The best and most unusual feature of this set is the case in which the needles are stored. It’s a nice, sturdy, attractive zipper case - so convenient to keep track of all those tiny needles!

Needles are nice. But the case stinks. And I means smells horrible. It’s not meant to be washed, but I am on my 4th time washing it. Different detergents and cleaners. Nothing will get the smell out of it. So don’t buy this if you like the case. It’s a lost cause.

These are as nice as their circulars! They are smooth and the tips are nice with just the right amount of yarn grip. This is a great starter set of dpns and the case they came in is really nice and feels like it will hold up for a long time. Im looking forward to years of usage out of this set.

I love these needles. The points are excellent for picking up stitches, especially sock yarn. I mostly knit socks on the smaller needles. The bright colors of the needles aid in seeing dark yarns too!

Zing needles are the best! They are not quite as sharp as my expensive needles, but they are my go to, take it with you, gotta knit needles!

I have used the needles and love them. The only complaint I have is the case to store them in, the zipper is difficult to zip and unzip.

I really like the color of the needles - the points are silver, but the body of each one is a bright color. This really helps the stitches stand out when knitting. Would suggest not using them with the exact same color yarn as that may prove problematic. The only issue I would note is that every time I use double pointed needles I have an urge to each oriental foods as they remind me of chop sticks!

For all the sizes and the price i highly recommend this product!
