I knit socks a lot and these double pointed needles are the best !!!

Zing is a new needle collection from one of my favorite brands in everything knitting, Knitter’s Pride. Really nice feel on these dpn’s, just enough “slip” to let yarn flow smoothly, but enough”grip” to not lose stitches. As usual for KP sets, the case was well made. Plus Amazon’s price was 10-15% less than others.

New to DPNs but these are really nice to use. Buy them, you wont be sorry.

I purchased this item because my daughter likes to take her needles with her on trips. In the first picture it shows the case as if the needles are on the inside and zipped to secure. The case does zip, but has clear windows (as shown in picture 2) on both sides with the needles attached to a single board. The case is worthless for safety for travel as was the reason I purchased this item.

These are my all-time favorite sock needles, and Ive tried many! The case is great too. I just bought my second set so I can work on two socks at a time. The metal has just the right amount of slide, not too slippery. The points are just fine to me. These are the ones I always reach for, I cant think of anything negative. They remind me of a certain luxury needle brand but less pointy, but they are pointy enough without splitting yarn.

I really like these dpns! Dpns are sometimes hard to use. I have wooden ones and plastic ones and metal ones. These are perfect. They are metal so things slide very easily, but there is a coating or something that keeps them from being slippery and having your project fall off. They are a great balance between wooden and metal. I will probably get rid of the other types I have. These are a good length, too. The joins are perfect. No rough spots. The numbers are engraved on so that should last and not rub off. The tips look squarish but I have had no problem at all with them. They work very well. Mine arrived in the newer case - same blue and red but without the plastic window - which I am very happy with. It is a nice case. I recommend these!

These are fabulous needles. The tip is nicely pointed without being too sharp. I absolutely LOVE working with them! I would highly recommend them, especially to beginners as the tip will cut the frustration of slipped stitches dramatically!

I needed a metal set of sock needles and didn’t want to spend a ton of money but didn’t want to buy something crappy. These are a nice in between. The points are both pointy and blunt like the reviews say, not sure how best to describe them, but I like them. The unique points on these needles seem to be handy for not splitting yarn when knitting, they have a great feel, grip the yarn jut enough so I’m not afraid of loosing stitches. The smallest size is strong they don’t flex like my wood set, if you manage to bend these then you are doing something terribly wrong. Two of the colors in the set appear similar (per a few complaints) but under different light conditions I can see clearly that they are two different colors, one a more yellow green and one a more blue green, tho subtle. I also bought the size 4 and 6 separately because I tend to use that size a lot for hats. Very happy with my purchase, glad I ignored the negative reviews.

I bought these because a friend of mine was using them and they looked pretty. I realize that’s not a good reason to purchase knitting needles, but I did. The price for six sets of sock needles from sizes from 0-3 was unbeatable. The tips are well tapered and slick. The barrel is brushed aluminum and has just the right amount of drag to keep your stitches in the needles, yet not impede knitting them quickly. For such light needles they seem remarkably sturdy. No DPNs last forever without breaking or bending, but these should last for a goodly amount of time.
