Why buy anything else? Thicker than Amazons own branded 12 gauge stranded audio cable. As I get older I have less patience for lower quality products and wish I had known about this a long time ago. If you’re serious about audio, you’ve already got good equipment. Where this quality of cable shines is in delivering the details and nuances of sound. I can hear the artists finger glide on the electric guitar strings, I can hear the intake of breath as they get ready to sing. On metal, the bass is thumping and audibly louder, it has more oomph. I’m running 165 watts into 6ohm double 8” woofers and a 6” midrange, 1” tweeter. Speakers are in stereo with a S/N ration of 93db over 12 feet. If you’re running 45 watts into a 4” speaker, it might not be that important, however when you upgrade your speakers , you’ll still be using the same wire, might as well do it right the first time.

These cables are VERY heavy, well made of 100% pure oxygen-free copper! The insulation is heavy also. Do not waste your money on those special cables that cost a fortune since copper is all you need to deliver the very best undistorted sound there is! All those claims that those special (i.e. cost a fortune) cables are actually any better are just hype and if you do some research like I did you will see this is true. One word of advice that my research revealed; a 12-guage cable is not meant to carry sound over 80-feet without losing some of the signals quality --- I cant imagine anyone needing a longer run but if you live in a mansion move up to their 10-guage product.

Great quality flexible wire that does appear to be 100% OFC. Ran 12ga thru my 2nd gen Tacoma thru all the door boots with no modification or problems, make sure you have a good wire fishing tool.

Hard to find larger gauge speaker cable in large lengths for a decent price.

Ordered the 100 spool of 12 awg wire. Spool arrived in decent shape. You can tell that something heavy was laid on top of it in the storeroom because it was malformed. It didnt cause any issues with playing out the wire so it was just cosmetic. The good: As for the wire- Im impressed. Its true awg and all copper. NOT cca. The insulation is nice. Its got a soft feel to it and there were NO problems running it through the vehicle - especially the door jambs where wire tends to turn a simple quick job into an all day affair. Its quite flexible given its size. The bad: The insulation durometer, or softness gave my auto strippers a bit of a hassle. Nothing too major, I just had to squeeze the stripper handles twice instead of once. The tradeoff in feel and flexibility of the wire is so worth it though. The other things I noticed were the lack of length markings (usually denoted every foot). And the lack of polarity striping was an ever so slight inconvenience, but in lieu of a polarity stripe, just use the printed info in its place. After all, thats one reason they print on only one conductor. Overall, 9.5 out of 10. I would purchase again.

It has real 12 gauge wire in side I bought 50 feet and turn around and Turn around another 25 feet

The quality of the pure copper wire strands is awesome. Even though I had read several reviews prior to making my purchase, I was blown away when the package arrived and I found the product on a spool was actually quite robust for 12 Ga speaker wire.

The best speaker wire ou there. If you have found this, looking at other products on Amazon is pure waste of time. Ive bought this cable in different gauges for my media room and it is by far the best speaker cable Ive used in my life. Ive ran it in the walls, made interconnect with seawell plugs, etc. I refuse to buy other speaker cable after using this. You will love it. Buy 100% copper instead of the CCA junk sold everywhere.
