Top quality wire at a great price! Very easy to work with.

In past two years I have made two home theaters in my basement with total of 20 speakers installed (a bit crazy I know but a 7.1 system plus another 7.1.4 takes a lot of speakers and wires.... ). I have bought many different wires from Amazon. Most of them cheap or Amazon best choice etc. I can tell you, this Kord Kable is by far the nicest wire I have used and the price is totally justified by its superior quality. When using the wire one thing immediately stands out to me is that its plastic insulation is so nicely thin and soft, combined with the nature of real copper, making the wire amazingly knot-free and super easy to lay out. Compared to this Kord Kable experience, those cheating CCA wires with thick and hard insulation are absolutely nightmares. Another thing is after striping the wire its copper threads are again so nicely soft and fine, making working with them such a pleasure. In contrast, all the copper threads from those cheap wires are stiff and kind of bristle (probably b/c theyre not real copper, but CCA copper clad aluminum). Huge difference. Dont waste your money ever on those $10/100 ft wires. You only need to spend on wire once and spend dozen bucks more with this quality wire and be done with it. My only regret is why I didnt know this nice wire until last week. Amazon flooded their pages with so many crappy wires that a genuinely good one like Kord Kable is almost impossible to be found. I only heard it by chance when one recommended it on an audio/video forum. If I have one wish that would be that Kord Kable could come with some color variation not jut blue. Itll be nice to color code the wires to different speakers.

This wire is worth the money. It is extremely plyable making it easy to work with when routing thru floors & walls. I read that you should up- grade your connectors & wire about every 4-5 years. After doing so , I did notice a remarkable difference in sound quality I would highly recommend as an initial or replacement wire.

Construction is great, very flexible, OFC (Oxygen Free Copper), with super fine strands.

Ordered the 100 spool of 12 awg wire. Spool arrived in decent shape. You can tell that something heavy was laid on top of it in the storeroom because it was malformed. It didnt cause any issues with playing out the wire so it was just cosmetic. The good: As for the wire- Im impressed. Its true awg and all copper. NOT cca. The insulation is nice. Its got a soft feel to it and there were NO problems running it through the vehicle - especially the door jambs where wire tends to turn a simple quick job into an all day affair. Its quite flexible given its size. The bad: The insulation durometer, or softness gave my auto strippers a bit of a hassle. Nothing too major, I just had to squeeze the stripper handles twice instead of once. The tradeoff in feel and flexibility of the wire is so worth it though. The other things I noticed were the lack of length markings (usually denoted every foot). And the lack of polarity striping was an ever so slight inconvenience, but in lieu of a polarity stripe, just use the printed info in its place. After all, thats one reason they print on only one conductor. Overall, 9.5 out of 10. I would purchase again.

Heavy grade speaker cable w/ attractive insulation. NO, I didnt ohm it out to check for resistance, but relied on a number of reviews from reputable net sources that stated this was an affordable alternative. Made sense to me that spending more on Absolute Sound magazine endorsed wire like Nordost, Crystal Cable, and the like that sell a single one meter length for more than I spent on my Integra receiver, Monitor Audio floorstanders, and Hsu sub combined wasnt a viable option. I don t pretend to have true audiophile-gifted hearing, so what I perceive as a silent noise floor w/ these cables is all I need @ a real world price.

You cant go wrong with this cable. 100% pure copper, very flexible and improved the sound of my home theater.

Great speaker cable, sounds very nice for hifi setup

I was very skeptical to spend about $60 for cables - as my current Monster 14 awg cables were working completely fine (though they are 15 years old now). But decided to go with this 12 awg and loving every inch of its 100. The quality of the cable is like you touch velvet. It is sleek and very flexible for a 12 awg. Since my old cables are as good as this one, I cant really comment about any improvement audio quality but it does sounds awesome. Without any hesitation, I can recommend this to anyone whod like to spend a little more money - rather choosing other brands. You wont regret a bit.
