This easyshare printer is not so easy. Total waste of money and wish I never bought it. I actually purchased it for my mother since she doesnt use a computer. Thought it would be easy for her to print her own pictures. I was wrong. First of all the cartridge it comes with only prints 5 photos. I couldnt believe it and felt so bad that she couldnt print more right from the start. So I bought a replacement cartridge. Total ripoff. The prices are outrageous and you cant just buy the cartridge, it also comes with the paper. Well for the price of only 50 prints I could have them printed up much cheaper at most stores. But then it gets worse. Finally the replacement cartridge comes and I install it. We dont even get to print one picture before it gets a paper jam. This was no ordinary easy to fix kind of paper jam though. There is no way into this printer dock to unjam the paper. It doesnt open. Take all the screws off that you can find and all you are left with is being screwed, it still dosent open. I couldnt get the printer cartridge back out because the paper was jammed in there which prevented anything from moving. This was total waste. I would have chosen a different camera for my mother and not paid extra to have the printer that came with this camera. If you are thinking about buying this printer to go with the camera you already have, dont waste your money. It is cheaply made and not easy to repair simple problems. The company is no help at all so dont think you can call customer service, they could care less and just suggest you send it in for repairs but they expect you to pay for everything.

This printer is useless. It will not properly feed the paper. One time the paper was jammed inside the printer and I could not get the paper out. I junked the unit after I used it 5 times!!

I purchased a kodak 6000 which ate up ink cartridges before all of the photo paper was used up, and then I was stupid enough to purchase the G610 for my wife. We didnt go thru the box of photo paper and then the paper wouldnt feed into the printer. We now have to manually feed the paper into the printer. Piece of junk!

Tried to get supplies for this item today and found out that I can no longer buy anything for it because Kodak has discontinued this item so now I have a set up that I can no longer use.

bought this for my wife, due to her older model being nonfunction. she is somewhat computer literate and hasnt complained of having too much trouble with it. upon initial installation had to go to manufacturers website to get an updated driver/software component in order for it to function.

After just a few uses the dock only prints half a picture. Kodak wants $80 plus $10 shipping to fix it. I told them that I had only used it 4 times. They told me I could return it and get 15% off a new one. The question they could not answer was, Why would I buy another if the first one failed after so few uses? After reading other websites about this I found that I am not the only one with this problem. Kodak does not stand behind their warranties or their products. I am now going to get an epson which has great reviews.

It worked fine at first. Then it stopped feeding the paper.

I bought the Docking station g610 Kodak EasyShare G610 Printer Dock and found out after I brought it home and read the instruction book, it requires a specific battery. Not the battery that ships with the z712 camera. (The CV3 battery is not recharge-able.) Youll need the
