I needed Low capacity drives for compatability with usb 2.0 devices. i tested these and yes these are fast usb 3.1 and have 16gb. Authentic -get what you pay for. i copied 16Gb at 20MB/s -reads at 120MB. fast read speeds to play 4k video from. photo of test results attached. good product for cheap affordable price and performance. although i hate the swing type handle. i knew what i was buying and i got exactly what was advertised.

One of the drives has a bad connection and keeps dropping out. The other drives work flawlessly, happy with the purchase. Good Value.

I do a lot of recording of songs by year. These are perfect for me to put 125 or more songs on the drive for each year.

Easy to use, very portable, makes a nice gift if you are giving perhaps a slideshow or pictures to someone, they can plug it into their computer or television to view. 2.0 is a little slow on the download but if that is not a problem then this is a good buy.

Summary: good drives for the price; decent transfer speeds. Details: Main desktop computer is a Dell XPS 8920. System drive is a 250GB SSD. Two other HDDs for data, 1.0TB and 6.0TB. External USB connections are: USB-C 3.1 (rear), USB-A 3.1 (rear), USB-A 3.0 (front). THe transfer speed difference between the front (3.0) and back (3.1) was negligible. Test Method: The test program I use is ATTO Disk Benchmark (freeware). I tried a few different ones, and settled on this one because the result picture was relatively easy to compare to other results. When evaluating results, I mainly looked at the transfer speeds for files size 1 MB or larger. Pros: good price point; good fit & finish; bright activity LED; decent transfer speed. Cons: None. Recommendations: If you buy a pack of 10, remember to test them all in case any are dead on arrival (all mine were good).

They seem to be good for the most part but I’ve ordered these sets a few times, and often there’s one that has some sort of issue and clients have problems accessing the files and it becomes corrupted. Overall a good value for the $. Be sure to format each one and check it before putting files on them and handing them to clients.

I have eaten 3 times. I have never had any failure. they are cheap in price. I dont use them for continuous use
