great bag. Durable, plenty of pockets and it can handle a LOT of weight. Holds my 15.6 dell with ease, along with my iPad and a bunch of other things. Would have been a 5 star review if the seller had mentioned the smell in the description. This bag has a VERY STRONG leather smell, and not the pleasant new car leather; Its a smell i can only describe as farm leather. The bag comes with an insert that explains that the smell fades within weeks, which (luckily) seems to be true. Its been a few weeks and the smell has diminished significantly, although it still is pretty strong. At work i share an office and have had to keep the bag in an air-tight drawer else face the wrath of my co-workers. The smell is so strong that it can fill an entire room with ease! A few handfuls of drier sheets have helped things a LOT and i can now consider that, in the near future, a day will arrive when i can actually keep this beautiful satchel in plain sight during the day. Smell aside, its an amazing bag. Very sturdy, practical and good looking. I am very satisfied.

I got a new computer at work, a Dell 7730 laptop that measures 10.8 x 16.3 x 1.2, which wouldnt fit in the old messenger bag Id been using. I have a roller computer bag that I use on trips but it was a bit much for daily use, so I looked for a larger messenger bag and found this KPL one. Ive been using it for about two weeks now and am pleased with it. My computer just fits in it. Its a tight enough fit that I cant easily slide the computer in one-handed. However, getting my computer in and out seems easier, either because the bag is looser or because Im more used to it. I like that the bag stands up on its own. My old smaller messenger bag, which I loved, couldnt sit standing up. This bag can sit by my desk, ready for me to put my computer it in when I leave my office. Its a very big bag, and I really use it only to carry my computer from my home to my car to my office and back. I keep a few other things in it, including a small umbrella, but I dont try to put a power adapter in, preferring to have one at work and one at home. For true road warrior trips, Ill revert to the roller bag. I like that the shoulder strap is removable. I took the padding piece off the strap because for me the piece was too wide to be comfortable, and I prefer just using the strap without it. With my computer loaded the bag does bounce uncomfortably off my hip as I walk, so I do keep a hand on the front of the strap to restrain the bag, something I didnt really have to do with my older smaller bag. The quick releases on the front are essential and work fine. I saw some people asked questions about this, and yes, at least on my bag, there are two quick releases on the front of the bag that are usually hidden behind the buckle straps connected to the top of the bag. I did adjust those buckle straps on my bag to use the closest hold to the top, and the top does seem a bit lose but not enough for me to bother punching another set of holes. That there are two straps is something else Ive had to get used to — my old smaller bag had only one, which was more convenient — but given the size of this bag and that it carries larger heaver items, I understand why two are necessary. One more thing about the quick releases — I took a photo of one to upload with this review, and looking at the photo I noticed that the bracket on the quick release already looks banged up. It doesnt really come into contact with anything except leather, so I dont know why its so banged up, not that it really matters since its hidden most of the time. I didnt spend nearly as much on this bag as on my old bag and got it only because of my new computer, but for the price its a good bag.

This bag is as advertised. It is a well made beautiful leather messenger bag. I am looking forward to having it for many years to come.

Let me start of by saying buy this bag at such a low price and you will not regret it. The packaging was if I bought 400 glass bag from over seas. There was layer of plastic wrap over nice draw string bag. Once I opened it I found another plastic bag and then foam wrap under the plastic. Then each piece of metal( even zippers) Were individually wrapped in tape and foam. Instantly I new the owner cares. The the small details in the metal and leather convinced me even more. I originally wanted for the 2 zippers as this will be my daily bag or travel. I didnt realize there were 3 and multiple other pouches till I started packing it up. Build quality is amazing and I cant wait to break it in. It is already standing on its own from the design. Canvas happens to be my favorite color and style, another reason for the purchase. This to is quality and matches perfectly. It also feels like heavy canvas that will stand the test of time. The snap buckles are my only complaint but Im really being picky. They feel on the cheaper side because of how thin they are but the other metal is thick and sturdy. Mine did come with some small flaws like a miss stitch or rivot not 100% straight. I personally think that adds character and it sure doesnt hurt its functionality. I mean isnt this why we buy hand made items to begin with, character? I have not had mine long to really say this will last but I hope it does. It met every need and went beyond my expectations at this price point. ***Update....I would like to add that I had a small issue with my bag. Seems the small screws (like eyeglass size) were missing from one buckle. Simple mistake and I can see how easily it was missed. Since It only came off once I had a good amount of weight in the bag. However, hours after my email the owner got back to me with just one question, my address (Zero hassle!!! How RARE now a days). Just 2 days later he sent me an a new buckle when just screws were missing. I hate to bring up mistakes even when taken care of beyond expectations but I read a lot of complaints about their customer service. My experience was perfect and I will be letting everyone know.*** I would like to end with reviews about the smell. Yes its real leather so yes it will smell but eventually fade. Mine however is not strong and I kind of hope it doesnt fade. I got leather for strength, longevity, style and yes the smell. I mean why buy leather if you dont like the smell? Thats like buying a hat and complaining you dont like things on your head.....

I’ve always wanted a bag like this but never pulled the trigger until now. I wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the look, quality and overall durability. The leather, while not the best quality ever, it still quite nice and has that weathered look and feel that I was looking for. Even my wife likes it and she’s a designer with pretty discerning taste. Worth every penny.

Did a lot of research looking for a messenger bay for my Chromebook, and decided to go with this one. And I am not disappointed. A very well made, solid genuine leather bag. Has many compartments for all your bits and pieces. And the cream on the top is the quick release latches for the top flat. You dont have to buckle and unbuckle it every time. And yes it does have a smell, but thats just because it is leather. People need to get over this, it will fade in time. People just aint used to what a genuine product smells like, they are all used to the cheap synthetic crap on the market. It came very well package inside a plastic bag, and then inside a fabric bag (see photo). All the buckles, zip tags and dog clips were also wrap to protect the leather during shipping. And I must add, I ordered this bag on a Thursday and received it on Tuesday...to New Zealand. Had the same shipping time with a Chromebook I ordered off Amazon. Well done Amazon. Let me start off by saying that I am not someone who does many reviews but I had to for this item because I am truly blown away by the quality of this bag. You will be hard pressed to find a better bag for the money. I have been through at least 15-17 laptop bags in the last 15 years. Here are the points that stand out for me: - this bag was packaged so carefully with each buckle and zipper padded and wrapped. - I have a 17 inch laptop and it fits very comfortably in this bag with plenty of room for the many other items I tote around - Pockets...I love, love pockets and this bag has plenty. - the gusset makes it stand-up on its own when you set it down on the floor - you can zipper shut the interior. I am very lazy and although there are quick release thingys underneath the 2 buckles I am still guilty of not closing my bags properly and having to hold it to my side so it doesn’t gape open. - adjustable strap. I am a 5” 4’ female so it was great for me to set it on the smallest length and it was perfect for me. With another 5 holes in the strap it would very easily accommodate someone much taller than I. - Some reviews reported an odor. When I received this straight out of the bag it only smelled of a nice leather scent which I personally like.

My husband is an adventurer and highly researcher of every item of his gear... whatever it is, he needs to do tons of research and make sure its absolutely what he wants. Of course, that makes giving him gifts a little hard since most likely I miss an important aspect or feature. Luckily for me, I found this bag and it was PERFECT, he needed a new bag for work that could hold his many items comfortably and play the part of stylish without being high maintenance.... THIS BAG was an absolute hit! I inspected the package when it arrived just to make sure it was what I expected, but all I had to do was wrap it in gift paper and hand it over. It comes perfectly packaged in multiple layers so the product looks perfect as the person unwraps it all (He got the ahaaa moment). I was surprised by how light it is compared to its size, so it work out wonderfully for him because it has a lot of space to carry tons of plans, files, devices and tools. The quality of the material and workmanship is excellent and it looks so professional. He thinks I spent HUNDREDSSSSS of dollars on this gift so the price point makes it even better.
