> 3 dayThis bag is absolutely absolutely beautiful. I purposely waited a few months in to make this review and I can say that I truly love love this bag. Arrived as advertised. Initial smell was as others have stated, it is strong, but this goes away! Do not let a few days of strong leather smell deter you from this bag. It will reward you for your patience! It is super super sturdy. Buckles and snaps are tough, nothing on this bag is flimsy. After a while the leather softens up... a lot. So much so that the main flap isnt rigid anymore, droops and lost its square stiff box-ey aesthetic that I personally loved. The rigid aesthetic is my own personal preference though, and I am sure for others the soft worn in look is something to look forward to! That said, the corners of the bag are super sturdy and the bag stands up on its own. Overall, a beautiful sturdy superior quality bag.

Greater than one weekI got a new computer at work, a Dell 7730 laptop that measures 10.8 x 16.3 x 1.2, which wouldnt fit in the old messenger bag Id been using. I have a roller computer bag that I use on trips but it was a bit much for daily use, so I looked for a larger messenger bag and found this KPL one. Ive been using it for about two weeks now and am pleased with it. My computer just fits in it. Its a tight enough fit that I cant easily slide the computer in one-handed. However, getting my computer in and out seems easier, either because the bag is looser or because Im more used to it. I like that the bag stands up on its own. My old smaller messenger bag, which I loved, couldnt sit standing up. This bag can sit by my desk, ready for me to put my computer it in when I leave my office. Its a very big bag, and I really use it only to carry my computer from my home to my car to my office and back. I keep a few other things in it, including a small umbrella, but I dont try to put a power adapter in, preferring to have one at work and one at home. For true road warrior trips, Ill revert to the roller bag. I like that the shoulder strap is removable. I took the padding piece off the strap because for me the piece was too wide to be comfortable, and I prefer just using the strap without it. With my computer loaded the bag does bounce uncomfortably off my hip as I walk, so I do keep a hand on the front of the strap to restrain the bag, something I didnt really have to do with my older smaller bag. The quick releases on the front are essential and work fine. I saw some people asked questions about this, and yes, at least on my bag, there are two quick releases on the front of the bag that are usually hidden behind the buckle straps connected to the top of the bag. I did adjust those buckle straps on my bag to use the closest hold to the top, and the top does seem a bit lose but not enough for me to bother punching another set of holes. That there are two straps is something else Ive had to get used to — my old smaller bag had only one, which was more convenient — but given the size of this bag and that it carries larger heaver items, I understand why two are necessary. One more thing about the quick releases — I took a photo of one to upload with this review, and looking at the photo I noticed that the bracket on the quick release already looks banged up. It doesnt really come into contact with anything except leather, so I dont know why its so banged up, not that it really matters since its hidden most of the time. I didnt spend nearly as much on this bag as on my old bag and got it only because of my new computer, but for the price its a good bag.

Greater than one weekWith the low price I expected lower quality, but so far as I can tell initially its at least as well made as my previous briefcase, which cost much more.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my son-in-law, a manager in the bar business. All of 3 minutes after receiving this bag, my granddaughter had appropriated it as hers. My granddaughter, Sweetie Pie Girl Face, and his daughter is a rising college freshman, who immediately saw the benefits of it as a computer/book bag. But that’s not what drew her to it. It was that this messenger bag is slap beautiful and of top quality workmanship. You can feel the quality in your hands, the soft leather slipping around your fingers. She just took it from him, offering in the bargain a , well the, the smile of a lovely daughter. That’ll do it. Now I gotta get him something else. My smile won’t work the same way. I rated the durability a 3-star, only because I cannot rate the durability of a product I’ve only had a few days. What a stupid rating to ask for. I could guess that it will last a long time based on its quality of materials and the fine workers tending to it, but you can guess too. I don’t want to. Buy this bag, if you’re in the market for one. You’ll be very happy with your choice. As always, a pleasure

> 3 dayFor a bag at this price point, I am very impressed. The zippers and stitching seem top notch, and the leather is beautiful quality. There was no smell as others have indicated. And all the buckles, zippers, metal came individually wrapped in Styrofoam/plastic so they were perfect no scuffs. The interior of the bag is a more matte forest green, not a brighter green as some of the pictures in other reviews had (I like my color better). The bag will stand up on its own. The storage space is unbelievable, and well organized, with an additional zipper compartment on the back, and 2 under the flap. My only gripe about the bag is they needed another 1-2 holes punched in the straps of the main flap. But I can do that myself at some point. The only thing left to see now is durability; I just hope the handle holds up and can handle the weight of my daily commute (laptop, charger, lockable hard case case for documents).

> 3 dayThis bag is really nice and seems to be a good quality for the price. The shoulder strap is a little smaller and flimsier than I would like. The part that should support and rest on your shoulder flows freely and doesn’t stay in place. Aside from that it’s what we needed.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my boyfriend, and I do believe it was his favorite christmas gift this year. He kept coming back to it to finish unwrapping all the fixtures, adjust the strap, and look at it again and again. He had already moved into it before the day was done. It really is more beautiful and quality than I expected for the price; fully lined in canvas and sturdy full-grain leather with tons of compartments. He is able to carry his laptop in the middle padded compartment, along with other papers and accessories. There is even a pen-holder on the inside, along with 3 other zippered compartments on the inside and outside, and two smallish pockets that are capable of holding a large cellphone or other similarly-sized incidentals inside the quick-release cover. The outside middle pocket is buckled without a quick release as hidden by the other front buckles. The rivets feel like they go through all of the leather, but are hidden on the inside by the canvas lining. He. Loves. It. Great buy! I would have paid twice for it. It truly is beautiful. And yes, it smells like leather. Because it is.
