Kuat Phat Bike Kit

Does NOT work with Kuat Sherpa or Sherpa 2.0. Spoke with a representative from Kuat and there is no plan for Kuat to support owners of Kuat Sherpa or Sherpa 2.0 with Fat Bikes or Fat Tire Bikes, even though the representative agreed could they could easily make a new front wheel tray to accommodate Fat tire bikes.

Kuat sucks. I buy a $800 rack and I can’t even upgrade it. So they sell us these overpriced straps which are marginal at best. I guess they hope I will buy their new $800 rack just to fit my ebike needs. Wrong. I work in a bicycle shop and I tell all my customers how Kuat treats previous customers. I will never endorse their product again. Other great rack companies out there.

I needed these to properly secure my fatbike. Too bad they have to be the price they are.

Works to adapt our NV for fat tire bikes. Very easy to add on. Bike fits securely.

A simple product that just works. If you need to secure your fat bike in your Kuat rack, this is what you need.

I bought this at the same time I purchased the Kuat NV Base 2.0 rack. I was told I needed the Phat Bike Kit as an add-on. When the rack arrived, it came with the Phat Bike Kit, so there was no need for me to order a separate kit. Oh well, now I have two. Guess I need to get a second fat bike.
