Kuat Phat Bike Kit

I bought this at the same time I purchased the Kuat NV Base 2.0 rack. I was told I needed the Phat Bike Kit as an add-on. When the rack arrived, it came with the Phat Bike Kit, so there was no need for me to order a separate kit. Oh well, now I have two. Guess I need to get a second fat bike.

Neither if the straps are big enough for my fatty mtb. Very disappointed

The rack should just come with these given how expensive it is. But these work as described.

Worked Perfect for the Phat Tire Bikes !!

A simple product that just works. If you need to secure your fat bike in your Kuat rack, this is what you need.

The plastic bit could have been longer, or alternatively they could have actually used all the space an included more tabs. Would have also been helpful to have it function so if you lift the tab it tightens.

I use these on all the front tires of our 24, 27.5 and 29 inch wheels. I noticed on longer drives to the trails the front tires also need securing, these are perfect.

Pretty expensive for a piece of plastic and Velcro. It worked this winter but it’s outrageous the mark up on some of these Kuat components. They are great at ripping you off.
