> 24 hourI purchased this monitor a little while back and I dont regret anything about it. It is perfect for software engineers who are on the move and need 2 screens for the applications we use.

> 24 hourIve only had my new portable monitor for a few days, but so far Im extremely pleased with the device. It is exactly what I was hoping for. It is an extended display for my Windows 11 Dell laptop that only requires one cable (USB C for signal and power). The picture quality is as good as my laptop. The brightness is as good as my laptop. The colors are certainly satisfactory, but Im an business user, so I cant speak to the color quality for graphic design and photo editing. My only minor complaint is that case/stand. As a case, it is OK, but certainly doesnt provide any drop protection. All it is protecting against is scratches and dents while its in my laptop bag. Is that so bad, however? Because my laptop doesnt have any drop protection when it is out of the bag either. The case doubles as the stand and it is OK at best. It does hold up the monitor, using magnets and friction, but it would take much of a bump to send it flying or falling. Reading the instructions is helpful, as many people probably dont realize the bottom flap flips over for extra holding power. The weird thing is that it seems the magnet has reverse polarity from what it should. The top of the back of the case, if aligned with the top of the back of the monitor, actually repels instead of attracts. It still seems to work ok, but I do flip the screen around backward when I put it away, otherwise the case would be held about 1/2 from the screen due to magnet forces, instead of pulling tight. I think almost all of these monitors (other brands as well) have a bunch of negative reviews from people who didnt understand what they were doing. Many of them dont have a fully featured USB C cable capable of providing power and picture on a single cable. These folks will need two cables, one for HDMI and one for power. The monitor does come with both cables, just in case. I get the impression everyone expected single-cable operation, despite not knowing what their device (laptop, phone, etc.) would support. Some people even complained that a special cable was required for using it with an IPad or iPhone. Understand, this isnt the monitor manufacturers fault. It is the device manufacturer... or the user knowledge. Furthermore, USB-C just doesnt have very clear designations and specifications for everyday users. Lastly, some bad reviews are from people who purchased this for use sitting at their desk. Know what youre buying! There are better and cheaper options if all someone wants to do is use this at their desk. This is a great option for portability, but not what youd choose to buy if it is always going to sit on your desk and never move.

> 24 hourI bought this monitor for my frequent trips, but it worked so well that it’s become my primary monitor at home, and when I travel.

> 24 hourUPDATE: Kathy was extremely helpful in getting the issue resolved. She made this customer extremely appreciative and happy! 5-Stars on customer service. I travel a lot for work, so I needed something light and easy to carry. This fits the size and weight requirements. The picture quality is good, the unit is easy to put in a laptop bag, and the single USB-C cable was a plus for data and power. However, no matter what I tried, the phone will not see this as an external display. I have a Google Pixel 5a, maybe the phone is the issue, but I cant find how the phone is the issue. Recently, the USB-C ports stopped working. I have replaced the cable, and still no luck in getting it to work. I am now connected via the HDMI cable with the power cord to get it to work. Summary. Until this issue has been rectified, I cant recommend this to any one. I will reach out to the seller to see if they can replace the unit. I will update this review once I have more information.

> 24 hourThe monitor has two USB-C ports, and a mini-HDMI port. The HDMI cable connects to the HDMI on my laptop. The monitor can be powered by the USB port on the laptop without using the USB power adaptor that came with the monitor. Monitor quality is good - clear with matte surface. The speakers on the monitor are a bit weak; I just have the audio come from the laptop. The case feels metallic and solid. The cover that came with the monitor is flexible and functional for both screen protection and as a monitor stand. Overall, a great portable monitor especially at the price point.

> 24 hourEDIT 10/31/2022: I received a replacement monitor that works perfectly, KYY customer service is really good! Highly recommend this monitor and if you have any problems, theyll take care of you. EDIT 10/29/2022: Ive been in contact with customer support and theyre EXTREMELY prompt with replies! Its actually really impressive - weve determined the ports on the monitor are not functioning correctly so theyre sending a replacement unit. Will update this again after testing that out. ORIGINAL: I got this monitor for use with a CHUWI LarkBox X miniPC with a documented full-function USB-C port, but despite trying multiple cables including the provided one, I cannot get the monitor to recognize the input. Charges fine and the mini-HDMI works as a display input but it wouldve been nice to only need one cable. The colors arent great even when changing the brightness/contrast/RGB settings, but it looks fine enough with no major issues. Good monitor for the price, the stand works well enough, but its disappointing that some ports dont work as advertised.

> 24 hourI originally bought this to take with me whenever I dont work in the office or from home. This thing is amazing so far and the size of the screen is nice as well since my laptop monitor screen is a tad smaller. I also use this to play games on my switch if Im not doing so at home or via handheld.

> 24 hourThe screen is great and is bigger than my MacBook Pro. It works great as a second travel monitor for me, but I wish it had a battery like my IPad. It takes too many wires to work, and it doesn’t always work the first time. The stand is terrible and flimsy - overall it’s a decent product but not amazing

> 24 hourI purchased a KYY 4K monitor (3820x2160) for my personal use around the house or on the road (flexgate got my 2017 MacBook Pro [MBP]). But for my daughter in college, I got her this inexpensive, yet excellent monitor from the same manufacturer. Like my first KYY monitor, this one is well-built, lightweight, and simple to use for her dorm room or the library (it might be a little too much for a classroom or lecture hall). The monitor does not have an internal battery and the power cable is a little too short in my opinion; however, when I connect the included USB-C cable to her MBP, she was able to get about three hours of use before her MBP battery died (it’s an old battery). KYY’s awesome customer service reached out to me after my purchase and asked for any suggestions. I told them that I’d like to see a VESA mount for when not mobile; a longer power cord; and an internal battery. Even without these conveniences, my daughter is still able to do what she needs to do off the MBP battery. If KYY rolls out another monitor with the above features at their reasonable prices, I’ll purchase from them again.
