This kit is easy to use, with simple instructions and fast results! Everything you need is included in the kit and is very easy to return. I received my results within a few weeks and they were very straightforward. They assess fat, carbohydrates and protein as well as other things your breastmilk. I found out that I could be using more DHA in my diet and was able to take Omega 3 supplements knowing with peace of mind that my daughter was getting what she needed. To my knowledge, this is the only testing kit of its kind and I am grateful I stumbled upon it! I will definitely recommend to friends and anyone I know who is nursing.

My baby is now four months old and I got my milk tested when she was six weeks old. This was one of the best things I could have gotten during a time in which you’re only focused on how your breastmilk is helping your baby. I pumped just a tiny bit to get tested and in return I got an extremely thorough easy to read report showing me specifically what my breast milk lacked and what I could eat more of or less of to improve the quality of my breast milk. It is so incredibly comforting to know that you have control over what you end up feeding your child. In the very early months your child is completely dependent on you and only you so what you eat really impacts the quality of your breastmilk but this is the only thing out there that actually makes it so that you’re not just guessing. I highly recommend this as a person who only breast-feeds exclusively and does not desire to supplement with formula. This is my second child and I think that the rewards that come from breast-feeding are absolutely phenomenal and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The results were so comprehensive and so insightful into where my nutrition and supplementation was lacking. After receiving the results, I knew exactly where the gaps were I needed to fill. I plan on retesting now that its been over 4 weeks after adding in what I was missing.

Finally I could shut those people up. Those people refers to anyone who told me to switch to formula because it has more calories. My results showed that my milk actually had more calories than formula, so there! The results were extremely informative and I appreciated that they were written personally for me. Not a canned response. I also got them in a very timely manner. Its nice to have someone to talk to there when I reached out to customer service. All in all, I am so glad I finally splurged to do this test because the results were very telling.

I loved the experience of using Lactation Lab. I’m on an extremely restrictive diet due to baby allergies, so I was concerned about certain vitamin and nutrient levels in my breastmilk.
