> 24 hourFive stars for sure on this little guy. Used this for polishing and buffing my headlights and it works to a crisp! Using my Harbor Freight special polisher, Ill put some drops onto the 3 foam pad and rub it in, then, before turning it on, dab the pad on the headlight. Turn the setting to 2 and spread the compound evenly over the light. After that, take it up to 4 or 5 and get to polishing and get that sucker nice and clean to a scratch-less sheen. This is definitely something you want in your detailing kit.

> 24 hourIf this is truly the Lake Country backing plate, it is a quality product (I purchased mine from a different online vendor). This backing plate has been on my PC7424 for over 3 years now, and I have been very pleased with the function and durability. I have worn out about a half dozen Lake Country pads on this backing plate, which is no easy feat. My best guess would be that it has seen 200 or so hours of use. The Velcro still holds as if it were new, and I do not have any complaints at all. I wonder if I will ever wear it out, as I am starting to think that it may outlast my polisher.
