This supplier did not send what is pictured for the product. Another unhappy customer posted a picture of what I guess most of us got. There are several of us who received the inferior substituted product. We received a cheap piece of junk which had no spindle in the center. An adapter is needed to make this work and the quality is nowhere near what is pictured. Avoid this!!

I ordered this backing plate due to suggestions and reviews about Lake Country being good quality.. When I put it on my DA polisher it wobbles pretty bad.. The Harbour Freight 6 backing plate had no wobble and spun true.. I will be ordering a different brand

This doesnt look a bit like the Lake Country backing plate that I bought from a well known online auto care site. Although neither of them have a manufacturer name on them, the one from the specialty site is thicker and has 6 rivets. Since that site is recommended by people who are really into car care, Im pretty sure they are selling the real thing and that this is a cheap imitation. I gave it 2 stars because I suspect this will work OK, but it sure appears that it was misrepresented and I dont appreciate that one bit.
