> 3 dayThe hooks are soft rubber, instead of metal. So, if you put something like an iPad on it, the hooks will give and your device will slide off it.

> 3 dayHolds the tablet really nicely. Just be mindful of the kind of case you have on. Other than that it’s a great product.

> 3 dayI like the overall feel of the product has very good weight and durability . I use it for the Nintendo switch and I put my phone in while watching Netflixs or YouTube. The only thing I would change is where your device sit maybe give it a little more depth so the device doesn’t fall so easily.

> 3 dayThe best phone/tablet stand Ive ever used. Lamicall also makes a stand with no hinges and a stand with one hinge at the upper joint. Ive also purchased 2 of the no-hinge stands, which are fine but very similar to a couple dozen stands available from other brands. I have a Nexus 6P in a very thin case. What makes this stand so great. 1. This stand is just the right weight. The other Lamicall stand is a lightweight aluminum. I have to be careful removing my phone from that stand because the case often sticks to the stand and the stand comes up off the desk with the phone. It requires two hands to remove the phone, with one holding the stand. (My smaller, lighter Nexus 5 doesnt have this problem but the Nexus 6P catches almost every time.) With this hinged stand, the metal is slightly thicker, the base is slightly larger, and the hinges add a bit of weight, too. it has enough weight and stability that I can lift the phone one-handed every time. Yet it is not too heavy to fold up and bring with me. Theyve struck the perfect balance. 2. This stand is adjustable in both height and angle. Most adjustable stands only adjust the angle. I didnt expect height to matter so much but it does. My husband makes fun of me because I have a dual monitor setup and Im often doing something on my phone (sometimes two phones), so I have a handful of glowing screens on my desk. Being able to shift just my eyes, instead of reorienting my head saves time and neck strain. Setting the stand so the base and the back form a right angle, its 5 inches from base to top of the upper hinge, so the height will adjust from almost flat to 5 inches tall. The cradle can adjust from almost vertical (I say almost because if the cradle is set right against the back in a vertical position, the phone tips out) to perfectly horizontal, so theres the angle adjustment. Ive used it on: my raised monitor stand, flat on my desk right in front of my keyboard, my chest in bed, the arm of my armchair, night stand. Each requires a different height and angle, also when changing from portrait to landscape on the phone. 3. The hinges are perfect. Ive been using this stand for 2 months now. Too soon to tell if the hinges will hold up, but so far they are rock solid in ease of adjustment and holding the angle once set, at least for my phablet. I would definitely buy this again. Yes its more expensive, but you can sometimes find it on a lightning deal.
