> 3 dayWe were looking to potty train our rabbit to make cleaning her cage easier. This litter box is the perfect size for most rabbits, but if you had a breed like a Flemish Giant or other extra large rabbits, it would definitely be too small. Having the grate in there makes it easier to keep the litter actually in the litter box since she cant go digging it out. The box itself is well made. Its a durable plastic and it cleans out pretty easily. Overall, pretty happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayReally nice size litter box for a large breed rabbit. I’m using this XL litter box for my 10 pound french lop. He is geriatric and disabled from a neurological disease, so the grate didn’t work out for him. His front legs kept splaying out on the grate and making it difficult for him to balance. I removed the grate, so now he is just sitting in his paper pellet litter again. However, this litter box fits him a lot better than his old one. Also the entry point is lower, so it is easier for him to enter and exist. Despite the grate not working out, this litter box is still an upgrade. And overall, it is very nice quality.

> 3 dayI did not order this to use with a rabbit, I ordered this to use for a turtle however its too big for what I needed it for - so I plan to somehow try to repurpose it for my chickens as a nesting box. The quality of the pan is very nice, the grate is removeable which makes for easy cleaning. I think if its used as intended, it will be a nice addition to any rabbits coop.

> 3 dayMy mini-Rex rabbit has been using a corner litter box that has a coated metal rack that sits on top of the litter so that his feet stay clean. The coating has worn off of the rack from the acid in his urine, and it is not possible to replace the rack without buying a whole new box. I was looking to switch to a plastic rack to prevent the rusting problem. This litter box was larger than I had planned but in the end it worked out perfectly. The plastic insert has enough holes in it that the poop and urine drop through to the litter underneath and my rabbits paws stay clean. The plastic is also kinder to his paws than the metal rack I used previously. The plastic rack snaps into place so that my bun cannot tip it out. The overall dimensions are large and it fills my sink when washing it out but it is very easy to clean. I am able to attach the hayrack to hang over one end of the box. My rabbit has a cage for his litter and food dishes, as well as a small hiding area, but it is kept open all the time so he has access to it whenever he wants. He has free roam of our family room when he isnt chilling in his cage area. This large litter box works really well for our set up. My bun is only four pounds. A large rabbit may not like this size litter box.

> 3 dayMy rabbit Cestial has a very bad habit of digging in her litter tray and getting her litter everywhere. It kinda defeats the purpose of having a litter-box entirely. Now that I have a litter-box that she cant dig in, Im very happy about it! The tray is easy to clean, easy to sanitize and her poop just falls in the box instead of having a chance of being pushed around. Love!

> 3 dayThis is actually the second litter box like this that I own. I got one like this on Amazon almost one year ago and Ive been wanting a second one so I can just drop in the clean one while I thoroughly clean the dirty one. The litter box is the perfect dimensions to fit into her chosen pee/poop location: this corner of her hutch. (And fyi bunny owners, she is free-roam, her hutch is her castle because shes a spoiled princess). My rabbit exclusively uses this style litter box (by choice - her royal magesty doesnt like the feel of pine pellets on her feet like in regular cat boxes) My usual fill: one layer of paper towel at the bottom (keeps litter from caking to bottom), a thin layer of pine-pellet litter, then a plastic mesh food dehydrator sheet (from a broken food dehydrator), then the top grate. The top grates holes are large enough for poop to pass through. The food dehydrator sheet allows pee to flow through, but not poop. When I clean, I pick up the edges of the mat and this allows me to dump 90% of poop into a container, then I scoop out the soiled pine-pellet litter (which turns into saw dust). I have a vegetable garden and put the poop out there. Every now and then I scrub it in vinegar to dissolve the urine-build-up stains. The litter box size means you can also put a cat-litter pee-pad down at the bottom. I do that when we go on vacation to make life easier for the pet sitter. (This option is less economical and less environmentally friendly) (No pads or litter is included in this listing)

> 3 dayThis is a great litter box: lightweight, rounded corners, attractive color. But the best part is that the slotted bottom snaps into place! My rabbits usually try to remove that part and end up making a huge mess.

03-06-2025Love this liter box. It’s large, good quality and easy to clean. I have two senior holland lops and it’s large enough for both of them on there and is easy for them to hop on to. Definitely recommend!
