Discovered this soap when I was a young person on the farm, Best soap for keeping your hands clean. Besides clean there are moisturizing agents in this soap so your hands do not dry out as with other products.

Ive been a user of this brand for several years off and on. I like the fact that moisturizers have been added to Lava. Works very well and does not leave an ashy look.

This stuff has been around for decades and theres nothing better for stripping grease off skin. Few retailers still carry it on the shelf, and thats why Im having to order it. It sticks to the shower walls/floor like glue, and clean-up the shower is a bit of a mess. It does what its supposed to and I hope the product lives on until infinity.

My husband d uses these a d he was buying from wal mart 2 bars a month. This box brought enough for 4 months

Excellent value for the money. Great for exfoliating, and helps keep my skin clear and clean.

Only soap out there that really gets all the grime off, without also drying out my hands. Hard to find it in stores in my new city, so rather than hunt all over the place, I bought probably several years worth at Amazon. Now Im all set for the long term.

Other reviews seemed to indicate there may have been a formula change at some point, but if so, I cant find it. This seems to be the same Lava soap Ive always used and relied on after working on various projects in my workshop. Takes off the various grimes, oils, and paint splatters that hands are subjected to, without being some kind of chemical cleaner. Hard to find this in the stores these days, so I was real happy to find that Amazon (as usual) came through. The 12 pack was also a nice touch.
