Was a hit with my toddler.

I bought this after looking for some play food that my 1 1/2 year old son could play with as he loves to cook all the time but I really wasnt enthused about giving him wooden food. From what I saw this brand had many glowing reviews and when I went to our local toy store I picked up this exact set. Overall I am pleased except the burgers and buns give off a powerful plastic smell (nothing else in the set does, just the burgers and buns), I checked and theyre BPA free, but made of PVC and yikes, what a smell! I am rather torn as I like the quality and I dont want to buy other cheap plastic brands nor do I really want wooden food like Melissa and Doug as my son would pulverize other things with it and this stuff stands up to full tilt boogie playing. Might try putting it in baking soda to see if the smell subsides as Im rather on the fence about other Learning Resources products now.

This food is wonderful. It is the best play food I have found. My daycare kids love it.

I just love these. Theyre super cute and a great material for little ones. I will say though, my oldest daughter picked these for my middle daughters second birthday because I read a review saying the ketchup and mustard squirted, but they DO NOT!! I love this set, but she particular wanted the ones that squirt for her little sister :(

Package was missing one hotdog, ice cream sandwich and the silverware. It didn’t appear to be a return. Very disappointed.

This set is unbelievably cute and realistic looking! The perfect size food for 1-6 year olds. I purchased this for my 1-year-old daughter last summer. She and her 4 & 5-year old brothers LOVED it! They still do a year later. They grill food for everyone that comes over. After purchasing this I bought a larger toy grill for our deck and they use all this food with that as well. This was my first Learning Resources purchase, I was so impressed with the quality & durability & realism that I have also purchased other food sets - the pic-nic set, the bakery set (with egg that cracks) and the breakfast set with pancakes, bacon, etc. I recently bought the little garden set with flowers, carrot and radish that you can plant & pick with included shovel and water can. Each set is absolutely wonderful! That being said, this grill set is my favorite, you get such a great variety of foods, the tongs, the grill, the tray.... I highly recommend.
