The tool worked, but not easy or clean. I bought it to add an extra hole in a pair of women’s sandals. Works great with paper, but leather is another story. The smallest tool circle is not as small as the other holes on the shoe. It took several attempts to make the beginnings of a hole. I finally pushed through with an ice pick. Ultimately, the buckle covers the spot, so no worries.

Unfortunately this was useless. I needed it to punch holes in a light duty guide harness, and it bent halfway through punching holes. By the time I was done, the metal was ballooning and it was punching crooked. I want to stress that this wasnt horse tack or heavy leather in any capacity. Its a light duty, single ply leather.

I used this to punch new holes in a thick cowhide leather belt. It worked beautifully.

Very bad quality. Veri flimsy. it bent out of shape on first use. My own fault, I chose the least expensive one of these.
