Greater than one weekThe tool worked, but not easy or clean. I bought it to add an extra hole in a pair of women’s sandals. Works great with paper, but leather is another story. The smallest tool circle is not as small as the other holes on the shoe. It took several attempts to make the beginnings of a hole. I finally pushed through with an ice pick. Ultimately, the buckle covers the spot, so no worries.
