Well made from cowhide leather.

it is beautiful and wonderful leather smell.....but i havent been able to carry/use it yet. the brown dye from the leather comes off on to my clothes!!! i have never experienced this before!!! i have used mink oil and saddle soap a couple of times each and the dye is still coming off!!! i am hopeful that it will eventually stop.

Im in love with this bag. so tough. I had fancy italian leather purse it fell apart. Also, the interior has a strong zipper theres no way anyone will razor blade your bag open to get at your stuff. it deos get scratched or stained easily who cares its a rustic look bag. love it. Wish it had an outside water bottle holder
