> 3 dayGot this yesterday, have fixed two long strings of light and one string of lights on an animatronic reindeer. Paid for itself in under thirty minutes of use. I highly recommend watching the how to use video on the companies website. I had previously tried multiple fixes to include a multimeter and a non contact electrical tester with no luck. This thing is awesome and does what it claims to do.

> 3 dayWas a bit hard getting it to work consistently at first. Instructions confusing. Online videos way better. Keep trying. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes super helpful determining what light strings to keep and fix and which ones to scrap

02-06-2025It found 2 bad Bulbs in the icicle lights very quickly! I marked the bad section with the clips provided and narrowed down the problem. So much quicker than pulling about 36 bulbs one at a time! Thanks for a great product!

> 3 dayIt used to be that if you had a string of Christmas lights, either they all lit up or none lit. Then a few gyrations later, there are sets that, at most, every other bulb would go out. Then we made the move to LED Christmas lights. Not even half way through the first season, small sections of the string - about 10 bulbs or so - would go out, but the rest of the string was fine. By the end of the season, all the LED sets had these burnt-out sections, some sets had more than one section out. Second season of LEDs, we bought all new light sets and, within a week of being on the house, those sets have the same small section problem. Needless to say, these LEDs are getting expensive fast and making me wonder if going back to the tried-and-true incandescent lights wouldnt be better. Fortunately, a friend mentioned this little light-fixing gadget to us, but the one he had was only for incandescent lights, not LEDs. My wife and I searched all the local stores and couldnt find it the LED one, but Amazon came to the rescue. Im not sure why we kept last years bad LED light sets, but we did and Im glad we did. Less than 10 minutes after opening this gizmo, all of last years bad sets are good as new! The directions for this LED Keeper are easy to follow and the device is simple to use - and a real money-saver. The way it works is you plug the light set into this battery-powered tool and then follow the directions to figure out which bulb (or bulbs) is (are) at fault. The problem is the cord isnt all that long, so you need an extension to test light sets that are already in place on the house. Nonetheless, its a great tool! If you use LED Christmas lights, do yourself a favor and pick up one of these. Youll be glad you did.

> 3 dayHeres the deal, I have these lights that I brought last year for my pagan winter solstice display from the Homeless Despot. They arent the greatest lights, but they are LED and they can switch from warm white to multi-color. Anyhoo, one 12 foot section was out, I stood on a ladder and checked every bulb in that sector...no dice . Oh, Mylanta! Went ahead and looked on the Homeless Despot website, and they were out of said lights. Fack! Got on my phone, opened up the A-Zon app, and blammy! Found this puppy. Worked like a charm. Cost less than a new string of lights. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayWish I had bought this sooner. Its easy to use, instructions seem like they are lacking, but if you read them closely, it lays out exactly what to do. save myself from having to get new lights mid season this year by just repairing a couple led bulbs that were burnt out.

> 3 dayI had two outdoor reindeer that had partial LED light strands out. I monkeyed around with a voltage tester, voltameter and randomly swapping out lights to try and find the culprit for hours - to no avail. I bought this in hopes of salvaging the reindeer or not having to rerun new light strands. After 15 mins, I found the 3 dead bulbs and the reindeer are as good as new. Save yourself the trouble and just buy this tool. Specifically for pre-lit trees/decorations, the probes on a voltameter are almost impossible to insert and get lined up on both sides of the terminal with such little room, the voltage tester is too sensitive to get an accurate reading with the way they wrap the strands and you continually get false readings, and swaps are only good if you only have 1 bad light. If youre curious how it works, this tool injects very small probes in through the insulator and completes the circuit at a specific spot in the line, by-passing half of the strand. With process of elimination you will find your bad bulb/bulbs in no time.

> 3 dayAwesome product. I used on four light strings and it helped me solve the problem with each. Each string was $16 a piece and were only one year old. It has more than paid for itself already. Just follow directions provided. Not sure about all detecting all defects but each of mine had LEDs the had one contact broken off which caused one section of the string of lights to not light. This tool helped me identify which LED was defective through process of elimination. Each string took about 5 minutes total to solve.
