> 24 hourWent backpacking with my son and bought this hammock a couple of days before our trip. After a long hike to the summit, we were pretty tired when we returned to base camp and were pleasantly surprised how easy this was to set up. We both attest it was extremely comfortable, we laid on it for 2.5 hours before we finally decided to make dinner. The instructions suggest finding trees around 10 apart, thats very accurate, but longer and the ropes wont reach. Customer service was great, I received an email before the product arrived with instructions.

> 24 hourI dont normally write reviews but this hammock is very comfy. Plenty of space, me and 3 small children fit in it. They were also playing in it and it held up just fine. Im 245lbs and no issues.

> 24 hourThe straps doesnt stay on the tree trunks very well. Id recommend getting the straps with several loops because other people had them and had no problem with it staying on the tree trunks.

> 24 hourThe hammock is great, and the peace of mind that comes from the lifetime guarantee is wonderful. Its made of quality parachute nylon, and the measurements seem to match what is expected of a double-sized hammock. Im a big fan of the strap system theyve chosen. Cord is smaller and lighter than webbing (and if youre super weight conscious, you could replace the cord here with something even lighter like amsteel), but they include a nice nylon sleeve to spread the pressure out and cause less damage to trees. The cords are also super adjustable (you can tie an overhand knot and attach the carabiner above it, or you could tie a marlin/marling spike hitch at any point along its length using the carabiner as the toggle) so theres a lot of flexibility in tree spacing and how much sag you want in your hang. I got immediate follow-up from the seller making sure everything was received and in working order, which I appreciate. One note about the orange color I purchased: the product photo looks a bit like a sort of burnt orange, but the actual color is more of a hunter safety orange. I love bright colors for my outdoor equipment, mind you, because you never know what might happen when youre out in the forest. I havent camped in this hammock yet, but all indicators are that it will sleep great. If my opinion changes once I get out in it, Ill be sure to update my review.

> 24 hourThe straps are so short they don’t even fit around a tree, and I can’t find trees close enough together for it to fit. I’ve never had this issue with any of my previous hammocks before.
