19-11-2024This kit is absolutely brilliant, besides three different configurations, the coolest feature are the technic pins at the bottom that basically let you rearrange the bases. If youre experienced enough (and have a few spare parts) you can even shuffle the buildings. It is almost encouraged that you buy multiple copies of this kit. I certainly am goin to.

> 3 daySuper nice set with almost 1000 pieces for around $80. Thisnser has everything you little architects need to build a 3 story shop center, including lego people to work or be shoppers. This says 9+, but my bright 8 year old has had no problems whatsoever. Lego instructions are fabulous and the pieces split up into separate plastic bags so one section can be tackled at a time, the end result is the big beautiful structure. (Which is a great lesson for life, as well.) These play sets are nice. My son tends to want to build the kitsch and then just display them. However, this set encourages ongoing play, because its more if a doll house type structure on completion. Because of that, this is also a nice set to draw hesitant girls into playing legos as well.

> 3 dayBought this Lego set for my 12-year-old grandson’s birthday. He is very excited about putting it together as he enjoys the themes and it’s challenging but not too difficult.

> 3 dayMy kids loved playing with this, Definitely on the harder side to assemble so I recommend it for at least 9+ but it is a very cute build and with the money you spend very worth it.

> 3 dayThis set is essentially 12 studs deep with a narrow sidewalk. I hope this becomes a long term standard for smaller LEGO buildings. The default method for building the main option of the three is to have the two buildings face different streets on a corner. I made a very small modification so they both faced the same street to better fit in the space I had available. The outer front walls are intricate and look very nice. The “dollhouse style” construction without a back wall does not bother me for a building of this size and cost. It fits well in a row with the Townhouse Toy Store set. The inside detail is good given the limited space. I did add a small number of additional pieces including more foliage both inside and out even though it wasn’t really necessary. There are a good number of parts for the money and this is significantly less expensive than a Creator Expert Modular building. I ordered a second set to be delivered today to increase the length of the row by building one of the other two options. Together with the Townhouse Toy Store, I should have a nice row of six buildings on my block for the price of a lower end Creator Expert Modular set with two buildings. The more expensive set would have taller and deeper buildings. It seems like a good trade-off to me.
