> 24 hourFor anyone who has a kid that likes to use their imagination and loves to build, this is the ultimate set. It is definitely more expensive than it should be but worth it if your child is like mine and loves to build a whole world out of legos. My daughter likes to make a world or a zoo with these and creates a whole story to go with the pieces which I think is great. It has so many pieces to really let a child use their imagination. I definitely would recommend if you can afford it. (Or maybe ask grandparents to buy as a gift, lol)

> 24 hourThis makes an absolutely amazing gift. The box is gigantic. Its colorful. It ticks all the right boxes. Its marked 2+, made for that birthday party, that day to introduce the kid to the magic of building things. Alas, once you open it, youre presented with largely single piece animals, with just the plane and the bus being meaningful assembly pieces. There are lots of bespoke pieces, more than I realize Duplo makes. For reference, I found https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KMUUQVK/ in practical terms a more enjoyable set, in terms of the possibilities of putting things together, mixing and match. All for a very low price. The build quality is top notch. I thought the big giraffe was a good piece: the feet are exactly spread apart, it has a mounting point on top, and the head wiggles. I feel like most of the animals are large enough to deserve their own assembly, and ability to build on their heads and backs. I think its a lost opportunity. I would say, all in all, this isnt a bad set. Even though this is a large box, it by itself is actually quite boring, and would need to be complemented by other more structure based sets. Maybe thats the plan all along, to anchor the hook into buying more Legos!

> 24 hourMy daughter had been begging me for Legos! She is 4 and too big for the Huge blocks she got when she was a baby but too little for your normal legos. When I saw these I couldnt wait to let her play with them. Her best friend is also 4 (and a boy) and the two of them have had so much fun playing with these legos! It comes with several animals and a plane in the lego set, so you are truly building you an African animal safari. It also comes with Whales and other animals... Her imagination is free with this set! I would absolutely recommend these for boys and girls!

> 24 hourLike other Lego products some portions you assemble which most kids enjoy and the characters/animals are cute, similar to other toys very popular for a while and later they barely use

> 24 hourGreat product! I don’t understand why the legos were bagged the way they were. At first I thought each set was bagged together for you to put the parts together but they were all mixed up. After a few minutes I figured it out. My daughter LOVES it.

> 24 hourThis set is a great introduction to LEGOs for a younger child. The duplo pieces are a bit larger than regular LEGOs and are easier for them to handle and use ( put together) Also very simple to put together ( such as attaching 2 pieces to make the tree trunk) Our grandson was thrilled with this set. Most young children love animals, and with the addition of building things, animals and an airplane. canoe, bus etc there is so much for the figures to do and places to go! Hes enjoying playing with the set and talking about the animals and where they live. LEGO is a great brand which encourages thinking, building skills and are just plain fun to play with! I highly recommend this set as a first LEGO set for toddlers. They can enjoy it for years and will be a good stepping stone for future LEGO kits.
