LEGO DUPLO Town World Animals 10907 Exclusive Building Bricks (121 Pieces)

The Lego Duplo Town World Animals set is very well made and sturdy so you can give them to young children without worry. Or, at least with little concern that theyll injure themselves with this set. The pieces are large and easy for toddlers to handle. Should provide hours of entertainment and also has some educational value. Makes a great birthday or Christmas gift.

We bought this for our 3 year old daughter for Christmas. I waited a couple months before doing the review to make sure it was something she continues to play with or see if she loses interest in it. She absolutely loves it! Plays with it almost daily and when she does she builds for hours. It lets her be creative and she really loves the animals. This is a great toy for kids.

While you wont be doing a lot of building with this set it really is a must have for playing with your creations. Our girls have lots of regular bricks but having lots of animals and people to pretend with has really opened up the possibilities. Throw in plants, building pieces, and even a slide and you have a little of everything. One of our daughters is 2 so building is a little out of her skill-set and this lets her play with her sister still. We love the plane as its bigger than the pictures make it look so you can put the people in it. Its Lego brand so everything is of course the best quality. Id recommend this set to everyone looking to expand a set.

This set is pricier than others but it has all the things my children love: vehicles, two sets of families, and animals. The set is really well thought out and each location has its own feel. Both my 4 year old and 6.5 year old loved the animals right from the start. Once Id put together the locations sets for my little guy big sister joined in and grabbed a towel to act as the ocean so they could arrange the sets just so. Then they moved on using the animals with their Fisher-Price Little People Zoo set. After that the whale had to go into the bath tub (most of the lego animals ended up in the bathtub to be honest but because they are solid plastic I dont mind. The whale also has a small hole on the bottom of the body so any water that gets into it has a way to drain out). The only downside I can see to this set is the whales head. It articulates on a hinge but if you open the whales mouth too much the whole top pops off the body. Ive had to replace it several times and it actually is a little hard to get on. But it is a very minor issue. This set is really delightful and would make a wonderful gift particularly if it is for a younger sibling- their older sibling will be happy to join in the play! Packaging: The box can be recycled and some of the bags are labeled as #4 plastic and recyclable but others arent marked as such and the outside of the box list the bags as non-recyclable.

Our two year old hasnt really played pretend with her toys until now. I was hesitant to let her try these because I hate toys with tons of pieces, but I have no regrets now. She remarkably took to playing with these right away, trying different ways to put them together, and calls all the figurines her friends. A term she now applies to every human looking toy she owns, but it only started after she started playing with this set. The different animals are also awesome to help build her vocabulary on the animals names and the sounds they make. She will probably continue to play with these for the next few years as she grows. We have stepped on some of the pieces and nothing has broken yet. The pieces are big enough that Im not concerned with her choking on them (though Im sure she could if she really wanted to try and eat them), but theyre small enough that she can manipulate the pieces easily with her small hands. If you cannot tell, were very happy, grateful, and excited for her to be playing with this set. It comes with a helpful booklet that tells you how to set up the different scenes. Update: We gave our daughter the rest of the set for her birthday and set it up. We are missing a couple pieces which are probably in her room, but the second picture is about 95% of whats in the package.

If not for the price we would purchase more duplos and legos. They can also go into smaller boxes most boxes are only half full per set. With lego price on the rise FAST, we dont buy them very often anymore.

This is a really great set for a toddler! It has a TON of pieces, lots of great animals, but is not a big one building type set. There are lots of little individual scenes you can make with them- one for the panda, one for the penguin, etc. IT has really let my little one create new things and she has loved it! I highly recommend this set!
