The birds were fun to put together--the instructions were easy to follow for each bird. It still amazes me that plastic squares and rectangles can be arranged in a manner to create fantastic looking birds! Ingenious design.

the prior eight reviews were five stars. YES it is five stars. We disply the three birds in our house, and every body wonder and ask is this Lego? It is not that hard to, but delicate (10-15 minutes for each bird). ENJOY it.

This is a great Lego kit. Our 12 year old daughter enjoyed every minute of constructing each bird and now has them on display in her room. They make a charming decoration when completed. There is a separate book about each bird included in the kit. We expanded on that and bought her this Lego kit, the National Geographic Backyard Birds book and some binoculars for her own bird watching. She loved them all.

Super cute! Larger than I expected. Great gift for the adult Lego or bird lover.

I purchased this for my husband who is an engineer and complete Lego fanatic (addict? ha!) and he loved it! I wasnt sure if hed like the sculpturesque, non-linear nature of the kit but he really enjoyed putting it together and its unlike any other kit hes had, so two thumbs up!

We absolutely love this Lego set it is so pretty it reminds us of Charlie Harper paintings. It’s the bluebird that really reminds us of Charlie Harper because of the bluebird in Charlie Harper’s paintings that look exactly the same. And we have a hummingbird feeder and love to watch them eat their food and so this really is a personal favorite it’s. It’s a little expensive but it’s so pretty and we are happy with your purchase

Quite possibly my favorite LEGO construction kit. The result are just beautiful birds, and the creation process is complex and engaging. A great build for kids and adults alike with a great ending showcase. I hope they make more. Note, our 9 year old experienced lego builder needed some help on some of the construction.
