I absolutely love building this Lego set

15 yr. old grandson is a Lego master. He really liked it. I was interested to learn that the bottle splits open so you build the ship in the bottom half and then attach the top. The bottle itself is made if lego parts. Took him a few tries to finish it which is good because I didnt want him to be bored. Good gift choice. Would buy again.

finally made it！it has been a longtime, I almost forgot about it, lego has great idea,so much fun with it.

Looks much better if you do not add the layer of flat clear blocks between the bottle pieces the directions tell you to use. They add stability but also had ugly thick areas around the center and make it harder to see the ship inside. After building I went back and removed them and it seems to be sturdy enough (and looks a lot better). Also, the brick configuration they tell you to put on top (above the ship)….put it on the back so it’s not as noticeable. Not sure why they didn’t just use the same configuration as the other three sides. Weird. Compare my pic to other submissions for comparison and you’ll see what I mean.
