> 3 dayWhen I ordered this set. I really thought that this would come in a nice box. Instead, this came in a larger box but was not protected on the inside. The box itself was scratched up and dinged very badly. For paying as much as I did, I really thought Id receive a nicer box. Otherwise, Im very please with actually receiving the item I purchased.

> 3 dayWaited all Black Friday week refreshing to get this on Lightning Deal only to have it sell out in less time than it took to add and buy it. Not pleased with Amazons handling of it as they either didnt put many for sale at the sale price (click bait) or fell victim to bots. Called twice and spent over a combined hour trying to get them to honor the deal (40% off) with no luck. Decided to go ahead and sell off some other sets to pay full price. If I hadnt opened a Prime Card to get a discount, Id have bought it off Lego.com to get points towards freebies and future purchases. I really appreciate how Amazon shipped it inside original Lego shipper box for added protection. Arrived in great shape. The unboxing was fun as the four inside boxes have art and movie quotes about the Falcon. The instruction manual is heavy and well-printed with lots of extras for fun reading. The build took about 20 hours ( and Id consider myself advanced). The minifigs chosen for the set are cool and appropriate. Id recommend building a display stand for them. The build itself was mostly fun as its both lego technic on the interior and shell covering for the outside and details. The detail, size, and weight are no joke. I feel this is definitely more a display piece than a playset and needs a vertical display stand in order to truly show off the detail without using too much shelf space. It can be difficult to move, so hang onto all instructions in case something falls off. I tried doing Lightailing and Briksmax, but its very difficult and in my mind not worth the headache. Overall, a great piece if you can afford it, find the time and room to build and display it, and feel satisfied not having much playability with it.
