Lexmark high yield 100XL Magenta ink cartridge

No matter how many times I cleaned the print heads this will not print without lines. I had to buy a brand new one locally, it works perfectly.

I bought this product because it is labeled Lexmark. But when it arrived, it definitely had a different profile and shape than the cartridges I was using. This is always a worry because the printer might not recognize it. I did have to deep clean the printer twice after installing this cartridge. The printing was weak and had lines. So I used a lot of ink just doing that. However, it is now working great. I noticed that my old cartridges were manufactured in the Phillipines and these were manufactured in Mexico or possibly vice versa (cant remember). So maybe Lexmark really is manufacturing these with different specs? But this product definitely represented a price savings compared to Lexmark direct which is outrageous even with their membership program and credit for returned cartridges. So I took a chance and it worked out. Does anyone know. Is this stuff counterfeit?

Good quality and service

Although it fits in the slot, the label isnt OEM and my printer wont recognize this cartridge. A big waste of money.It also didnt come in the manufacturers box as the photo would lead you to believe.
