They are doing just what I need them to do. Just a note: to use the butterfly anchor, youll need to drill a hole with a 9/16 bit. The closest bit size I could find was 1/2, but I made it work by rocking the drill to widen the hole. These did not come with instructions, so Ill add: the shorter screw is to anchor into wood, the longer screw and butterfly anchor is to anchor into drywall.

The size of the hook itself is actually quite small. Even for about a 1/4 inch macrame hoop, these hoops are too small for it. These hoops are good for thin or narrow S-shaped hooks, but be mindful of the smaller size if your hanging plant hoops hve any girth to them.

The hooks opening was way too small to fit the hook on my hanging plants and I have macrame hangers those also dont fit.

I use these exclusively to hold heavy hanging houseplants. They’re very sturdy, reliable and strong. Relatively easy to install if your ceiling isn’t doubled layered like my living room is. I can eventually install it but it’s difficult and not fun. I rated it four stars cause one of the wings has a defective spring. I’m going to mess around with the wire to see if I can fix it but it’s annoying. I like how they’re individually packaged too!

These hangers are pretty good for smaller plants or plastic plant pots. They come with the screw tip to go into a stud or a butterfly hanger into dry wall. You just need a 1/2 drill bit for the butterfly hangers to be able to fit. They are a bit smaller than I thought and have a scrolling texture. I couldn’t find a flat clean line hook anywhere. The good thing is they install easy and blend into white ceilings anyways. I wouldn’t go too heavy
