We bought this when my daughter started eating solids about a year ago. After I bought it, I thought I was just being a crazy, neurotic mom and then stored it in a super inconvenient place if its ever need it in an emergency. Well, my friend texted last week and said after 3 kids and having one for several years, she had to use it the other day and it saved her kids life. Back blows werent working, but this did! Ive moved our to a handy location and will most likely be buying more to keep in our cars. You just never know when you could need it. Recommending to all the moms I know

I have to say I’m a bit underwhelmed with my delivery. What I ordered was shown in a thick looking zipper bag with the LifeVac logo on it and I got some cheap plastic bag that just has a little barcode sticker on it that says LifeVac. Not a problem at all but it seemed odd. The listing showed several pages of instructions and tips were included, but I got one crumpled sheet with very basic instructions. Also the listing stated that I would receive a practice mask in addition to one adult and one pediatric mask. There were only 2 masks included. All of this makes me wonder if it’s an authentic LifeVac. That being said, it appears to work in the manner that it should and seems to have great suction. Even if I didn’t get everything I thought I would, having this in my diaper bag makes me feel so much better about my little one starting solids.

My 2 year old puts everything in her mouth so having this was a must! I ordered a different one and spent DOUBLE the price and it only came with 1 size. So when i found the life vac i was beyond happy! I returned the other brand and got this and boy am i glad! Way better price and comes with multiple sizes AND a test one to practice on! Overall amazing!

I made fun of my Brother for buying this bc of the price.... $80 bucks for something you probably wont be near when you need it anyways...?! But those words will absolutely haunt my dreams forever... Without this device, there is a very good chance my nephew wouldnt be us today... :( I have chills just thinking of it!! He swallowed a felt pizza from a childrens book, and NO WAY would we have gotten that thing out without this device! I give it as a gift at every babyshower I get invited to now. If you have small children, BUY THIS! And I pray you never have to use it <3

We haven’t had to use it thankfully. But just having it in the house make me feel very happy to have in reach if needed. Especially with baby learning how to eat.

Havent had to use, but great for peace of mind with new baby eating.

My life was saved with the LifeVac that I purchased for my daughter. I bought this after watching a video of it being used on a baby. What a great thing to have on hand for my grandkids…just in case. I never would have thought that we would be relying on it to save MY LIFE! I swallowed a large fish oil pill with some hot tea and the pill melted and stuck in my throat. I could not breath. The heimlich was not working, my face was turning blue and I was blacking out. My husband laid me down while my daughter used the LifeVac. It took 8 tries to get that sticky pill out of my throat, but it worked. Emergency services arrived when my first breath was taken and were very interested in this product as well. It was easy to use and very self explanatory. Watch some YouTube videos to give you an idea of what to expect. I purchased 4 more to have in houses and vehicles. Do I wish this thing was a little more affordable? Yes. Especially when we should have multiples. Everyone I know is purchasing the LifeVac.

I have not had to actually use the item but I’d like to give some advice before purchasing: 1. Be very careful when putting on the practice mask. Don’t push hard! It will NOT come off if you use anything other than minimal effort when pushing on. I had to contact Lifevac customer service because we tried everything to try to get it off….which leads me to point #2… 2. ONLY BUY FROM THIS SELLER if you’re going to buy on Amazon. Customer service told me that this is the only authorized Amazon seller so they replaced my dechoker at no cost!

Saw the video and knew it was something everyone needs. I have a 3 Yr old great son that I occasionally keep and now I think I could help him if something ever happens.

If you have young children at home this is super important to have.
