Wish this was a bit cheaper so everyone could afford one. That being said it appears to be made well and I hope we never have to use it.

Luckily we haven’t had to use this for real, but I will update if we ever do have to use this. But I wanted to review based on the practices we did with this. It was hard to scrunch together before pulling back. It wasn’t as easy as other products like this. My hands didn’t feel as comfortable with using this one. But will update if we ever have to use it outside of practices.

My granddaughter was choking last year after a “perfect storm” of a situation. My son, a trained first responder was doing all the right things, but it was not working. She was turning blue and she would have died if not for LifeVac. Fortunately he had purchased this a few months prior as he felt it should be in their home. Thank God for the premonition! They used the LifeVac and it quickly pulled the food from her little throat. Within minutes she was back to running around the house while my son and his wife were holding each other crying at the thought of what could have been. No matter how much you hover, stuff happens. They have these in both cars, kids travel bags, at home etc. My husband and I have one in our home and camper. These are now our go to gift for a baby shower or new babies. I have no idea if they are comfortable. I only know LifeVac prevented my grandchild from dying. In retrospect my son said it was extremely easy to use. I HIGHLY recommend this product for everyone. I bought my first set directly from LifeVac. This one I sent from Amazon because it was a gift. It is a gift I pray they never need to use.

I bought some on eBay that were fake. This is real, holds good suction.

A friend recommended this after I told her that my husband had been choking and I couldn’t get my arms around him to do the Heimlich. He’s tall and somewhat hefty. He was able to cough up what he was choking on, but in the meantime I was freaking out and calling 911. We haven’t had to use this but I feel so much better with it around.

We ordered product so, if needed, would save someone’s life. When my mother had an incident in a restaurant several years ago, it was extremely scary in watching her unable to get air. It took the intervention of another individual to save her from further insult . Your product was probably on someone’s drawing board at the time but mom was saved that day due to an employee was skilled in these matters. When we saw your advertisement on TV, we didn’t hesitate in ordering it. My husband even made the comment that this devise would be a great gift to anyone (even if it was never needed). Saving a life is top priority. Thank you for “inventing this product”. We, for one, are very grateful to own one in case it is ever needed.

We bought this when my daughter started eating solids about a year ago. After I bought it, I thought I was just being a crazy, neurotic mom and then stored it in a super inconvenient place if its ever need it in an emergency. Well, my friend texted last week and said after 3 kids and having one for several years, she had to use it the other day and it saved her kids life. Back blows werent working, but this did! Ive moved our to a handy location and will most likely be buying more to keep in our cars. You just never know when you could need it. Recommending to all the moms I know

What I dislike is that this model was much higher in price. There were other manufacturers that had basically the same product and a much cheaper price. I bought the cheaper price one too and they were the same as this expensive one.

The score is based on the device not the service. I purchased four of these devices ( sent to 4 addresses) for our house and for the families of three of our kids with small children. All four kits came without the practice mask that is listed on Amazon. I contacted the supplier (LifeVac) customer service to have them send the missing masks and they were not interested in helping. LifeVac sent me back to Amazon. Amazon customer service (Jessie) was very helpful and sorted everything out. This is a good reason to order from Amazon rather than direct from the manufacturer.

I haven’t had to use this, thank god but the quality is great and the peace of mind of having it makes it worth the price!
