Took less then 5 minutes to remove and install two of these. The hardest part, was untangling the rope that I used to hold the hood up (I tied the ends to the garage door hangers and looped it thru the hood latch - just be careful and make sure it is secure).

Hyundai quoted me $450 to replace these on my Sonata. It was an easy replace and took no time at all to install. You can do this yourself with just a screwdriver and spending a couple minutes on youtube.

It fits as expected. You only need flat head screwdriver to unlatch the original. You can snap on the new ones.

The Dealer wanted $155 ea to install these. That is almost 10 times more. Great instructions and I was done in 5 minutes. Thanks

OEM parts are $500 plus labor for installation. I bought these for 40 bucks and installed them in ten minutes. Longevity remains to be seen since they’re brand new, but you can’t beat the price.
