> 3 dayThis is a great little Ethernet hub. I have configured it to connect to cable modem and then a CAT6 to the main PC and others to WiFi routers. The WiFi is for other laptops and guests. The CAT6 connection give me 150Mbps down and 60 Mbps up whereas the WiFi is about 30 up and 30 down. We have 4 repeaters which may slow the WiFi. Have tried several WiFi units and no difference. This is inexpensive and works well.

> 3 dayEasy install. I bought to use my VPN hardwired to router. I was dropping often when on WiFi. Much better connectivity for my VPN.

> 3 dayDecided to run my own ethernet wiring through the walls and needed some extra ports to handle the wiring in two parts of the house. I purchased two of these. I have speed tests between tow computers on my LAN. Both tests were through ethernet CAT 6 cables. There are 30 connected devices on my small network (ethernet or WiFi connected phones, speakers, iPads, laptops, desktop computers, set-top boxes, TVs, weather sensors, and a robot vacuum). The first test was between two desktop computers running off the same NAT router (before adding this switch) showed 980 Mbps throughput for upload and download; the test after installing the switch returned the same values.

> 3 dayI already owned an SE3016 (the 16-port version of this switch) for my primary network, so when I had a backup internet connection set up I figured that the 8-port version would be my best bet. And I was right! This is a very good switch. Its plug-and-play, no setup required, and its performance is excellent. One thing I especially like about it is that you have a visual indicator of whats going on with the link, most notably that its green for gigabit and amber for 10/100.

> 3 dayWorks as described. Wish the connections were in the back and lights in the front, but no big deal. Utility is more important than aesthetics.

Greater than one weekThis is a quality metal enclosure switch, good visibility on the indicator lights, and easy set up. The metal enclosure provides enough weight to the unit that it wont slide around from the force of the attached cables. Works very well overall.

> 3 dayIt worked right out of the box as it should. This is meant to be a plug and play hub expander.

Greater than one weekGreat product for extending your wired system…you do lose a little bandwidth, but still better if Wi-Fi isn’t strong
