Liquitex Professional Fluid Medium, 946ml (32-oz), Gloss

This will put a high gloss finish over chalk paint, but the nicest part is it works with chalk paint. I wanted something easy to use, inexpensive, and gave me an easy to clean high gloss finish...this was perfect. You do need to let it dry for a couple of days if you live in a humid part of the country. I live in the Midwest, and even with AC, you still have humidity. Theres no detectable odor, it easy to apply with a brush or roller (depending on the surface). I painted a Jenny Lind bed frame with homemade chalk

Does what it says it does, Great for portraiture to give time for blending.

Im actually not a fan of Liquitex mediums - as I find their gels to be heavy and even the gloss feel dull. But this is the exception. This glazing fluid is a huge time saver and actually looks great! It has more of a professional quality than the others, mixes well with both heavy body and fluid acrylics, and spreads well. You can easily make your own glazing medium, but for someone who wants to save time this would be a great alternative.
