As a beginner painter, I have always been wanting to try the Bob Ross method for painting. After trying a byob paint class I went all in, but with acrylics instead of oils. After wanting to try some wet-on-wet blending I came across this on a forum. It does the job, but not as well as oils. I am satisfied that it takes longer to dry depending on the solution that you mix this and the paint with. Overall I am satisfied with the product and I like how it works.

When I received this the bottle cap was broken. There was no way to close the lid after opening.

Easy solution to stretch paint without watering acrylic paint down. The fluid medium is economical and so easy to introduce into your palette.

My go to pouring medium!!

Be aware, this product is small and therefore left in mailbox and froze. I’m sure the product will be compromised because of freezing. Amazon offered to replace it, waiting.

This helps in getting my palette to hold my acrylics longer and in some usages on my canvases. Easy to use.

No it is the same formulation - we have simply changed the name to Liquitex Professional Gloss Medium. The reason we changed it is because we now have a full range of professional varnishes which will give you a better result than using Gloss Medium to do both. Gloss Medium is an excellent fluid medium and we advise you to use one of our specialized varnishes with it.
