I have has a standard two step stool which I purchased 30 years ago and it worked fine for all of those years. Now that I am older the small width on the steps are hard to balance on. The little Giant Jumbo two step ladder is fantastic. It has a fold down handle to maneuver getting items from Kitchen cabinets, and a fold up handle for open area work. The steps give you great security with the jumbo size. It is almost like standing on the floor. Light weight and easy to maneuver. Although I purchased it to be safer in my aging years, I would pick this stool for any age. They do come in many sizes so pick the one that is best for you.

Theres nothing I dont love about this ladder! Nice big steps, sturdy, light, has a support/grab handle, this is something you buy to keep forever. Plus my wife likes it too! She keeps stealing it!

Handle adds safety

Im a Remodeling contractor with a large tall truck. Needed a couple extra steps to get in and out of the back of the service body. This was the right height, with extra wide/deep steps and extremely sturdy. Its used many times everyday, so only because of that, its worth the price.

would have been better with a higher back for stability

I am using these as steps to dismount a portable stage, and they hold up well. I do worry about some of my larger (+200 pound) friends. The metal does flex a bit when they come down hard on the steps, but nothing has broke so far after a couple months of daily use. They design is quite utilitarian, not quite modern furniture style, but almost modern industrial. i love them.
