The front basket breaks off to easy if trying to put the ball in. My 15mo is as tall as the hoop and when he puts the ball in his hands come down on the basket yes like a slam dunk. The basket comes off and yes its clicked in correctly.

All the kids love it…they don’t get tired of shooting and dunking. I like the fact that it’s adjustable so you can incrementally raise it. The design is really good because they hang on it and really abuse it but it stays strong. Worth every penny!! Get it, get it, get it

I would imagine they sold millions of these, because I see it pretty much in every friends house who has a young boy(s) at home. There are lots of similar products, and even Little Tikes came up with a one that extends higher in height, but this is perfect for my 16 month old son (currently I have it set on the lowest height and my son walk-dunks on it regularly. Walmart also had it for cheaper at the time of my search ($29 compared to $34 here at Amazon) but the picture showed only one ball, so I went with this one. Having three balls is definitely a plus if you dont like to be fetching for your son non-stop. Some reviewers said the rim falls out over time (and I can see it happening perhaps if you use it a lot), but for us it has held up with no problem after using it for few months (my guess is it might not have clicked all the way during the time of assembly, because they do tell you on the manual to actually step on the rim with the backboard lying flat on the floor to snap it into place). I have it placed in our living room with the base filled water and my son is not able to tip it over yet so its quite sturdy and durable so far. And another thing, I dont know if the designers intended it when they made it, but the front of the base has this slant to it so when the ball drops it nicely rolls back to you if you shoot it straight into the hoop. Overall, my son loves playing with it from time to time and that makes two of us.

Great for an active 2 yr old

My grand is only 18 months old, but she enjoys the balls. She will get the hang of it soon. But it’s sturdy (we filled the base with water), comes with 3 balls and super easy to put together and it stays together!

Algebraic style coordination, small and large muscle coordination and team vs team ... teaches competition early on I had all boys this stayed in use for a long time. They especially loved it when there were older/bigger and could walk by and drop one in...seems to have a great satisfaction for them! Also leads to the hoop on the garage, then the one at school playgrounds (I was always in attendance so some were later in the evening) Its like pool which is also algebraic style coordination, run..wobble PLAN the shots the banks the backboard...that all begins here. They get very good at BBall. They were in the city water polo and swim teams, roller hockey, t-ball then little league, AYSO, homework..My husband had died when my youngest was in the womb so I worked but needed to finish off my schooling so we all did homework together. I totally unplugged NO CABLE nada the television. I would rent they could pick they had parameters and I saw WAY TO MANY Chinese martial arts movies but I wanted my boys (I had all boys) to develop an IMAGINATION, play pretend, make and keep friends build lopsided forts in my back yard (Merciful land lord) I wanted my boys to have what I had - to be a kid! No gaming at all not even Game Boys Lots of arguments about that cuz billy up the street this and that...I must say they ALL did and are doing the same with their boys...Ive not on daughter or granddaughter...HOW SAD!! Because between 13-14 boys turn into Guys and you totally dont see that coming the first time! Then they wont go to the mall with you yada yada yada...and shopping for them becomes a military black ops mission! We will enter the mall at such and so we will park the car at so & sos store, we will walk in take the first left on the first floor. You will NEVER try to show me clothes you like etc etc etc... Honestly! Their friends all called me Moms etc...it isnt like ppl didnt know they were mine and I was OH HORRORS OH NOESSS with them ... just to pay. Ah Yes Now it begins again@
