Loctite Stikn Seal Indoor Adhesive, 2 fl oz, Squeeze Tube

I have used this for about 14 years now. I bought a couple of these in 2005 from walmart and still have them and they still work just the same. My first choice when it comes to adhesives is my hot glue gun because it cures-cools right away and the repaired item is ready to use. In cases where I am dealing with water like mending a garden hose or where extreme temps will come into play like under the hood of my car I use this product. Another poster compared this to liquid nails, I agree but would say that loctite goes on up on LNs. You cant use LNs on garden hoses but you can use loctite. I would recommend that you sand down the surface and clean it with 91% alcohol or vodka. Some rubbing alcohols leave a slight greasy residue

Didnt do what I needed. I was trying to secure something metal to the wall. Total failure. Just didnt dry, not adhere. Wont by again. Delivery was super fast- kudos to seller provider. My issue is with the product. Should have stayed with regular liquid nails.

I love this glue, I use it for my business and it is really great. Not messy and I can use it in places that no other glue can be used since it dries clear.

There was no smell, it adhered very well and replaced the old Loctite I use to buy that they are no longer selling.

This is excellent glue it is stronger then any other glue Ive tried except liquid nails adhesive and its much easier to work with than liquid nails. Loctites Handymans Choice even worked to glue books back together and the only other glue Id found that would work on books was liquid nails. It also works well on just about any thing else to but it takes about 24 - 72 hours to dry completely.

NOTE!!! THIS PRODUCT has been REPLACED. The current product: LOCTITE Stikn Seal NO MESS is what I was sent. If you are set on buying the advertized product make sure thats what the seller is offering, because its more expensive and harder to find than the cheaper NO MESS, which is not even listed on Amazon. Hmmmm. Its best features are: water clean up while still uncured; it dries very clear; and it securely bonds almost anything. It works well on many non porous surfaces. Its work time is about 5 to 15 minutes depending on temp and humidity. In dry environments you must work quickly if applying to a large area. Its almost odorless and often cures completely within 24 hours. Its difficult to remove without a blade once its dry so be carefull when you use it. Its thicker than superglue and may not be visually suitable for small repairs on areas where an invisible repair is desired such as china or jewelry. The only improvement this product could use is the inclusion of an extension nozzle for more precise application in hard to reach areas.

It was somewhat messy and pointed edges did not stay down. Still need needle and thread to have a secure edge.
