> 3 dayMy first task for this epoxy was the restoration of a heating stone for use in microwave ovens. These are used to keep the bottoms of food serving vessels warm for longer periods on the table. Mine consists of a plastic carrying frame (cracked), holding a one-inch thick granite heating stone. The plastic had cracked when dropped. My search phrase on the Net was “high temperature epoxy”. You have to really be careful about using more than one descriptor in your search phrases! I tested the repair in the microwave, measuring the resulting temperature with a laser thermometer. The assembly hit 300+ degrees, and the epoxy got gooey. O.K., my bad. Subsequent LOW TEMP uses of this epoxy have been quite satisfactory. Like all Loctite products I have ever used, this one perform very well, WHEN USED AS INTENDED. You can’t go wrong with it.....outside the microwave.

> 3 dayThis seriously works! I have searched endlessly here to find a glue that is: 1. Non-toxic 2. Works on porcelain, wood, and other substances, 3. Dries clear 4. No toxic fumes 5. Thick enough to not require a clamp to hold in place 6. Reusable 7. Can handle hot temperatures 8. Hopefully not ridiculously expensive. By golly this meets all those things!

> 3 dayFirst off, beware - the image shown on Amazon (white tube with blue logo at top, big yellow banner stating non-toxic on package) is NOT what you will receive, unless Amazon changes the image after my post. I specifically purchased this sealant because it was supposedly non-toxic. I had purchased my first tube a couple of years ago at Target and used it on all sorts of household items. Most importantly, I used it to seal up the small plastic holes in all of my sons bath toys (you know, the squirters and squeakers that are notorious for growing mildew inside). I finished that first tube a few weeks ago and went to Target to purchase another; however they did not have that exact glue - at least it wasnt packaged the same. The tube was blue and green and the package didnt have the large yellow banner stating it was non-toxic, so I didnt get it. Instead, I searched Amazon to see if they carried the original glue I had purchased (the one that DID state non-toxic on the package) and they did. I ordered the glue from Amazon; however, when it arrived I was quite angry to find it was the same tube/package as the one I saw at Target (which was $2 cheaper, I might add) and not the product pictured on the Amazon product page. So, to verify whether or not the formulation was the same--and this was simply a packaging change--I called Customer Service to ask directly if this sealant is (and always was), in fact, non-toxic... I was told it is NOT. I asked several different ways and each time the answer was no, it is not non-toxic. How they can put non-toxic on the label and in the product description is beyond me (greed?), but I am really pissed off. And to make it worse, I just found out that I cant return it to Amazon because it is considered a hazardous material. Grrrrr. Bottom line, if youre looking for non-toxic glue, dont bother with this. If I find another product that is non-toxic (and believe me, I WILL be contacting the company to verify that it is), I will post an update here.

> 3 dayDoesn’t hold up to heat. Don’t take much heat to lose its grip. Other than that it seemed ok.

> 3 dayI love this! I have used this for several years for various craft and household projects. It is very strong. It is a thick white cream out of the tube but dries clear. I use it out of the tube for large projects and use a thin cuticle stick to dab it on for small projects. The tackiness of this is great to work with. Works well for many materials and surfaces.

Greater than one weekI have used several adhesive products, but Loctite is the best by far. It is easy to use and sticks to just about anything. There is no sticky mess to clean up.

> 3 dayI love this glue, I use it for my business and it is really great. Not messy and I can use it in places that no other glue can be used since it dries clear.
