> 3 dayFrom my understanding, this is just a branded version of the regular G502 Hero. It costs the same and aside from the color scheme, looks identical. All of the features and the like are exactly the same. The price is too. Since this is easily one of the most well regarded gaming mice on the market, you really can’t go wrong with whatever version of it you buy. Styling-wise, I like it a lot. The black, white and blue color scheme really pops and the KDA lines polish off the effect. It’s a good looking mouse that is pretty eye catching. I happened to pick up the KDA mousepad at the same time as this mouse and I love that they made some effort to coordinate the peripheral color schemes so well. Functionally, this is a great mouse. This mouse has a lot of features that serious gamers look for; a highly adjustable weight system, a mouse wheel that can switch between free roll to clicky, 11 programmable buttons, an ergonomic design, high precision tracking and Logitech’s gaming software. Others who are far more experienced and knowledgeable than I have already covered all of its pros and cons so I’m going to cherry pick the things that stood out for me. When I’m not testing the G502, I use a Corsair Glaive Pro, easily my favorite gaming mouse. After trying not a small number of high end mice, I settle on it as the best one for me. The reason is because I’m a palm gripper and it fits my larger hand really comfortably. The G502 is a bit narrower and has a slightly lower profile. Although it is be bit longer than the Glaive, it’s not quite as comfortable. I guess that comes down to preference in the end but it’s something that I noticed. Another thing that jumped out at me right away was how heavy the mouse wheel is. Since a lot of my time on the computer is not gaming, the mouse wheel gets used a lot. I think the fact that you can switch from clicky to free wheeling is a nice feature. I do think the clicky setting is a bit TOO clicky. It takes a lot more force to turn it than I’m used to from other mice and even though I’ve been using it regularly for a month or two, I’m still not totally used to it. Another thing that jumped out at me was the mouse cord. Now I’m not one of those purists who thinks all gaming peripherals need braided cables but the cable on this thing is really thin. It’s probably the thinest mouse cable I’ve ever encountered. The thinness makes it super flexible, which is good, but also more likely to break if wrapped up a lot or if it gets caught on something. I’m not a fan. Regarding software, G-hub. Meh. I totally get why people don’t like it. But I’m not one that programs buttons very often anyway (I’m too lazy to bother) so it’s not a big issue for me. Bottom line: There’ no question in my mind that the G502 is a professional grade mouse. It feels like it. As someone who is a casual gamer I don’t mine using it, but it isn’t and won’t be my first choice as a daily driver because I find another mouse more comfortable. That said, you really can’t go wrong with this mouse if you do choose it.

> 3 dayFor what I use it for it’s great however I do wish the mode buttons were placed further away from the forward and backward buttons cause I keep accidentally hitting them when trying to change pages

> 3 dayI have love hate relationship with this mouse. So much to love! 11 programable buttons, ability to set different user profiles, adjustable RGB and more. I really like the pink - blue combo with RGB setup but to each its own, there are plenty options. Infinity scroll option is really neat. The click feels great, buttons give satisfying click but no resistance. I have medium sized hands for a girl, maybe leaning towards smaller size and I do wish it were smaller. After longer sessions I feel some strain in my hand and wrist hence love-hate relationship. Cable is not corded but it’s thin and flexible, has no pull and you can barely tell it’s there so I don’t see issue with that.

> 3 dayI purchased this mouse as i like playing League of Legends and am a fan of the Logotech G5 model line. I love the weighted feel, ergonomics, the smooth gliding pads, the art and lights, but the one thing i wasnt expecting is the terrible button placement for the on-the-fly mouse resolution changing buttons labeled G7 and G8. These sit right next to your left mouse button and unfortunately, I press them by accident at almost every click which makes the mouse resolution skyrocket to unknown settings and unplayable inaccurate clicking as the cursor is not where you expect it to be once one of those buttons is pressed and you are searching for it and moving uncontrollably around. I dont recommend this mouse for gaming for just that reason.

> 3 daygreat mouse, click scroll or freewheel scroll with a metal mouse wheel, programmable dpi settings, and able to use additional weights to make it as heavy or light as you want. Comfortable with palm or claw grip, and looks really too. two thumbs up

> 3 dayChanged review since it turns out the DPI led had to be toggled, the packaging was still done badly though. Logitech should ship via a box...

Greater than one weekI absolutely love this mouse, looks great, very responsive, ultra low latency. I like heavy mice, my son likes them light the great thing about this mouse is that you can customize it very easily just by popping open the magnetic base and add or remove the weights. I have the exact same mouse but all black in color and wireless with a charging pad. Problem is my son always leaves it off the charging pad and finds it dead once and a while. Only once and a while because there wireless one is amazingly easy going on the battery. But I was surprised to hear my son was really excited to finally have a wired mouse no more stress with a low battery mouse! The mouse is loaded with programmable buttons that are easy to use and the mouse wheel can be clicky or free spinning with a click of a button (I love this feature). My son says black is going out of style and white is more in for your computer and peripherals. So this mouse is right up his alley. He is soo stoked to get it and he is happy to give me all the black colored plastic peripherals.

Greater than one weekI suffer from carpal tunnel so I decided an ergo mouse was essential for me to be able to use a computer and/or game comfortably. Prior to getting a G502, I had just used whatever mouse I had laying around, usually a Lenovo or Microsoft mouse. Im not a pro gamer by any means, however I always assumed that gaming mice were gimmicky money grabs. I initially was looking at vertical mice which are supposed to be better for wrist comfort, but many people mentioned that a good ergo mouse can be just as good, so after researching I kept seeing the G502 making the top of many lists, so I decided to try it, as the price was reasonable (much cheaper than most decent vertical mice!) and I really liked how it looked. I initially got the normal G502, not the KDA version, and after a few days of using it normally I was amazed at the difference from the plain old normal mice I had been using, both from a comfort perspective, and at an accuracy and general ease of use perspective. The features that I really enjoy the most are the toggleable high precision button, and the ability to switch the scroll wheel from click to freewheel. I dont often switch the DPI between apps, but having the ability to do so, is appreciated. I didnt notice much difference when switching out the weights, but I ended up using a couple weights at the rear of the mouse and again while I am not a pro gamer, it is nice to be able to customize to your liking. Being able to lower the DPI while holding a button is an extremely nice feature, both for games and for general use when a little extra precision is needed. I see a lot of people complain about the GHub software however I have not had any issues to report so far. I appreciate the ability to save profiles on the mouse, so you can seamlessly switch devices, even to a Linux box and your settings carry over. My Wifes mouse failed so I let her borrow my G502, and she liked it so much, that I bought the KDA version for myself and she kept my original! She claims much more comfort and easier inventory management in games like Stardew Valley. Overall this is a solid mouse, offering lots of nice features for the price and its a joy to use, as well as being comfortable and attractive to look at. The RGB lights go well with my RGB keyboard. (thats worth something, right?)
