I got these magnets to attach a pool cover to a stock tank pool I recently purchased. These magnets were very strong and perfect for the job

These worked great to hang some decorative lights under our metal roof porch. Holds light objects well on thin sheet metal. On metal beams, it can almost hold me up! Very difficult to remove on thick metal. Love these and will purchase some more.

BE CAREFUL with these magnets. When they said 100 pounds, I did not believe them. I just wanted one hook heavy duty enough to hold up a thick calendar without it sliding down my filing cabinet. These magnets are overkill for the calendar, and almost dangerous. They will nearly drag you across the room to stick to metal. Watch your fingers when youre putting them away, or you risk pinched skin. They are difficult to get off of surfaces, so I recommend grabbing by the hook and tipping the magnet sideways. If you slide it to an edge, you risk scratching the finish/paint on the surface. 10/10 recommend. Would purchase again.

I have doubts!!!

I hang my Vintage Griswold cast iron pans with them including a Vintage Dutch oven with the lid on.

Took these on a cruise to Alaska. They worked well. No real complaints. They are definitely not 100lb magnets. I hung my camera bag up from the ceiling and a single hook was just enough to hold it up. It weighed maybe 15lbs and the direction it was pulling was straight down. I doubled up on the hooks for this bag and it worked just fine. I would guess that a single one of these hooks in a real world application on a cruise ship ceiling will hold 20-25lbs. Directly mounted to a huge block of steel maybe you could get a 100lb test pull but in the real world its no where near that. Similarly, mounted on a wall one of these hooks is fine for hanging coats or towels but heavy items will cause the magnets to slide. All that said, they were well priced. They are well made. And they work fine as long as you know their limitations.

The magnets really stay put on my refrigerator. Twelve were more than I needed, so I shared them with my family.

We bought these magnetic hooks for our storage unit. We rented a 10x20 unit to store some equipment and personal items during a move. This unit has a VERY tall ceiling and we wanted to utilize the bonus space by getting items off the floor. These hooks are amazing and perfect for this project! We are now using this very tall ceiling to hang lighter items from metal beams and long awkward items along metal walls high up out of the way. And the hooks are so strong that we arent worried about the items we are hanging, falling and hurting us or damaging our property. These hooks are a must have for organizational projects like this one!
