LTGEM Case for Samsung T5/T3/T1 Portable 250GB 500GB 1TB 2TB SSD USB 3.1 External Solid State Drives

Ordered this and got it the next day, but the zipper wouldnt work. Seemed like there was something inside that the zipper was getting caught on. Tried to force it once and was able to get it to go, but as soon as it was zipped closed, had the same problem again. Contacted Amazon, and rather than a straight return, I figured that the reviews were good enough in general, that Id ask for a replacement and see if I just happened to get a bad one to start. Still not sure how, but the second one was delivered the SAME DAY I requested it, and indeed, it looks like the first was just the random dud, because the second one is perfect. Does exactly what its supposed to, as its supposed to. For the price, I cant begin to think of a good reason not to get one to protect the substantially more expensive Samsung T5 that goes in it (as well as all the data Ive got on the thing), and I cant think of a good reason to spend more on something else either. Overall, VERY happy with the purchase.

Only reason for 3 and not 5 stars, if you rock the gel sleeve like most do, it won’t fit. I suppose I could’ve noticed that via the photos, but is an after thought. I’ll be buying a different one.

I bought this to go along with a new Samsung T5 External SSD that I purchased back in December of 2018, and its currently end of April 2020. Pros: - Its got a surprisingly soft interior in combination with a hard outer shell that gives me the impression that it offers great protection for my drive. The T5 SSD I purchased came with two cables--A USB-A to USB-C and.a USB-C to USB-C, and they both fit in the compartment provided in this case. - I love the two slots on the sides of the SSD compartment since it allows me to easily take out the SSD from either side or with my thumb and index finger, should I wish to do so - The zipper has been very smooth til this day and hasnt given me any troubles so far. - The outer shell is made up of a material that provides a good amount of grip, so you wont have to be afraid of carrying it around holding it that way. Alternatively, it comes with a clip that you can easily attach to a hook or something for easy carry. - Price is fair--I believe at the time of writing this is still one of the cheapest cases on the market Cons: I could not come up with any cons for this product. Its quite a simple product, so there isnt much room to go wrong here :) TLDR: Pretty great case with no cons, protects your SSD well with a soft inner shell and hard outer shell and also has room to store two small cables in the top compartment

Well designed to hold my Samsung T-1 SSD safely

Delivery was a couple days later than expected. My problem is my fault. I thought this case was the right size for a recently purchased PNY 480 GB SSD. It is too big for the smaller SSD I bought. However, Im using it for something else. Great case!

The case is exactly what I was looking for! It provides the protection I wanted for my hard drive. Its the perfect size and fits nicely in my laptop carrying case. Im please that I made this purchase and recommend the product.

This is the second LTGEM case I have purchased (one for each of my Samsung T5 drives). The case holds the drive securely, is well padded and the sides are hard enough to protect the drive. The T5 comes with two cables, USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A. The pouch in this case is big enough to hold both cables and without making the case overly large (the case I had tried before I discovered LTGEM did not have a large enough pouch to comfortably hold both cables which was very disappointing). I am very pleased with this purchase.

I am impressed with the size and that it is light in weight, while at the same time gives strong protection. I use it to store my external hard drive.

I actually ordered a few of these and other brands. This is by far the best for the Samsung SSD external drive I have. Plenty of room for my extra cables as well. I even keep earphones in case. Zipper and durability is perfect. I really like that the drive has a nice secure cushion spot just for it. Would recommend

This case fits my expensive T5 2GB drive perfectly and, so far as I know, it’s the only case specifically designed for this drive. I will say, however, that I have any number of portable drive cases that are build to a much higher standard in both quality and workmanship. So, unless you can find a custom fitting case out there that’s of higher quality, this is your only choice. It isn’t bad, just not as nice as it really should be for the money. Recommended.
