Love the weight of the case. Its just heavy enough to feel it can protect the scanner yet light enough it doesnt add noticeable weight to my laptop bag.

I purchased a brother scanner and wanted a case for storage. As advertised, this is a perfect fit with room for the scanner and a web pocket for the USB cord if desired. Its very sturdy and is a keeper.

I loved my mini sized Brother scanner but one day I bumped it and it fell from the desk onto a hard floor and it died and never revived, so I bought a case for my new one. I have been way more careful and have never dropped the new one but it does protect it from getting dusty or in any way getting marred by contact with other things. It would protect it well in your brief case for example but I cannot say it would prevent it from shattering if it fell any distance as in from a desk as it is not lined with foam or anything that could really prevent it from experiencing a hard knock if it fell but it does remind me to be careful. So from that viewpoint, it is useful. I did not grade tech support as who needs tech support on a zipper case and have never used tech support but I had to grade it in order to submit my review. My only comment is it would be better if it had a layer of foam that it would snuggle into so it would have more protect from impact if it fell.

You can’t connect to a 5 G network. You have to connect to its own network to use it. You also have to charge it through a computer or else it won’t charge. I do like that it does double sided scanning.

This hard case is made for the Brother DS series scanners and is nice. Its a hard shell, textured case with a wrap around zipper. The inside is slightly padded and has a netted area to hold the charge cord. Well worth the cost and highly useful.
