You can’t connect to a 5 G network. You have to connect to its own network to use it. You also have to charge it through a computer or else it won’t charge. I do like that it does double sided scanning.

I bought a hand held scanner and this case fits like a glove. It is very good at protecting the scanner as well as conveniently easy to store.

This storage case fit the device perfectly. Sadly I returned the device and the case. The case was excellent quality and had plenty of space for the cords. Highly recommend the case.

I loved my mini sized Brother scanner but one day I bumped it and it fell from the desk onto a hard floor and it died and never revived, so I bought a case for my new one. I have been way more careful and have never dropped the new one but it does protect it from getting dusty or in any way getting marred by contact with other things. It would protect it well in your brief case for example but I cannot say it would prevent it from shattering if it fell any distance as in from a desk as it is not lined with foam or anything that could really prevent it from experiencing a hard knock if it fell but it does remind me to be careful. So from that viewpoint, it is useful. I did not grade tech support as who needs tech support on a zipper case and have never used tech support but I had to grade it in order to submit my review. My only comment is it would be better if it had a layer of foam that it would snuggle into so it would have more protect from impact if it fell.

I ordered this case for my new DS940DW scanner and never looked back. The case has nice construction and feels solid. Plenty of cable storage as well.

I purchased this to protect my Brother portable scanner. The scanner and cord fit snugly and allows the unit to be transported and secured to prevent easy damage.
