I normally use Vaseline lotion, but decided to try this and a different aftershave lotion product after getting some breakouts on my face. I wasn’t sure if it was my lotion that I have used for years, but wanted to see if there was something out there that works better for my sensitive skin. This is unscented and is light and not greasy or sticky on the skin. It lubricates my skin well and moistures pretty well. I am not so sure that I like this better than my Vaseline and the product ingredient list isn’t as natural as I would like. I will update my review over the long term as I determine how this affects my skin long term. I am mainly concerned about the irritation I get after shaving and I want to see if this helps with that or whether I should stick with Vaseline or my Nivia lotion. 4 stars

Tattoo Goo Pros: Scent (I like it, Eucalyptus-y?) Easy to spread. Thicker than a lotion but easy to spread even on freshly inked sensitive skin Perfect for travel or taking to work/wherever you may want something during a long day Seems good for color Cons: Scent (it has a scent, many products dont and you may not want a smell) Expensive. Over $11 an ounce, even doing thin layers it doesnt last terribly long for larger areas. The cost per ounce and how long it lasts and why I took off the star Lubriderm Pros: Very inexpensive and available everywhere. Im seeing $0.11 per ounce Easiest to spread as its a water based lightweight lotion Scent free, leaves no residue or stickiness or tackiness Great for freshly healed, long term, non tattood skin, any dry areas, if you are only going to get one for cost or simplicity get this one. Cons: None really. It is thinner being a lotion and whether there is anything to it or not, on a fresh tattoo that needs healing I prefer something heavier, a balm or ointment, to feel like Im leaving a slight protective layer (very slight) vs it all just absorbing in and being done. But really, absorbing in and being gone is probably what you actually want so Lubriderm is just really good especially long term as it doesnt leave any perceptive residual residue Hustle Butter Pros: Vegan, Scent Free Color pops (might be psychological) Feels the most protective when applied to a fresh tattoo Feels like it stays around and lasts longer per application Con: Much harder to spread than the others, difficult to get full coverage on larger pieces especially without irritating the skin with the amount of pressure and work needed to spread the product out thin enough. On a fresh tattoo I feel like Im either irritating it with too much spreading, or its on too thick. I dont use it on fresh ones any more due to this. Price is middling at $4.75/oz right now, not bad Aquaphor Pros: Price is very good at $1.35/oz right now, and its available everywhere in different sizes Easy to spread, yet thicker and feels more protective than a lotion. Goldilocks consistency Scent Free Cons: Leaves a little more residual residue than you might want for regular long term use, I think Aquaphor is exceptionally good for fresh and healing tattoos but Lubriderm lotion is my favorite for regular long term use.

This is my best lotion and probably a product I will use forever. It has no scent, and comes at a great size. The lotion is easy to apply and absorbs quickly. The lotion is quality and has my skin looking and feeling great. Since it doesnt have a scent it also allows you to apply fragrance like male perfumes to expand your scent barrier. I had terrible eczema on my legs as a kid so moisturization has been important for me and I think I found the one. I sometimes use it on my face after drying out and exfoliating my face . The results are good. I try to keep facial skin routine products separate but it works good enough. This is the only lotion I would recommend . Lubriderm works, and works well. This formulation--the regular, fragrance-free one--is one of the few lotions my sensitive-skin family has tried which doesnt sting or burn chapped or eczema affected skin. (Weirdly enough, Lubriderms Sensitive Skin formulation DOES.) That said, I have no clue how I didnt notice that Lubriderm is petroleum based for all these years. It has to go. I cant support the oil industry, and petroleum is not something I feel belongs in or on my body. Ill be switching to an all-natural, non-petroleum lotion (in a glass or paper container if I can get it) once my bottle runs out.

These are one of the best body lotions you can get. I used this after my tattoo makers suggested applying on the tattoo during the initial days. My wife tried and she liked it. She wanted a non-scented one and so bought this one. Other than the Jergens brand, my wife loved this one. Our (My wife and I) 2 cents below: Pros: - Unscented and so my wife liked it - It is soothing for sure - Very hydrating - Not at all oily - Keeps the skin soft and moisturized for long - Very reasonably priced Cons: - None, which we could find as of now

I avoid using this on my face because I think I had a micro reaction once. My face started to feel a little hot and tingly. I have a somewhat sensitive face, but the rest of my body is ok with this lotion. I find it moisturizing on my legs, specifically, because I get laser hair removal on my legs and they get very dry afterwards, and itchy. I layer this on my legs the day after my laser session and suddenly, no more itch. My skin feels great.

Love this lotion that it doesnt feel thick when apply to my skin. Quick absorption and doesnt feel like anything. However, if my skin got really dry, I need to apply it several times throughout the day.
