Lust for life may not be Lanas most popular album but it’s worth many listens.

Sadly everything that was good about her music has died. All that was dynamic, cinematic, and jazz. All that made her music unique in a world with too many Madonna clones has vanished from her sound. This album is awful in comparison to her previous releases. I dont like the obvious sound of the drum machines and sequencers. These things seemed to be mixed so much better in previous albums. The duets are pretty bad with the Sean Lennon duet being the best of them. Even the Stevie Nicks duet lacks luster. The tracks with rappers are atrocious and I wish I could unhear them. Rappers do not lend well to her music. A couple tracks have a hint of what helped her sound different then rest of female pop artists today including In My Feelings, Heroin, and the last track called Get Free. I hope this was a result of a new producer that wont be back for anymore albums. I loved all her releases until this and if you dug those albums for how they sounded you may find this difficult to enjoy like I did. Just look at the art work, she is smiling, you know this cant be good. (Thats a joke) Overall the sound production, pop-styling and rappers really ruined this for me.

I admit that I it was only after around October 2012 that I started to get into listening to more of Lana Del Rey’s music and was entranced to hear more after hearing her Ride song. Since then, I am fortunate to have purchased her Born to Die-The Paradise Deluxe Collection, Ultraviolence, and Honeymoon music collection, and now the Lust For Life by Lana Del Rey music collection. A multiple number of songs in this music collection have a vintage pop 60s feel mixed with chillout and some elements of electronic and lounge. Listening to this music collection gives a calming vibe of listening to it while relaxing outside on a sunny day andor just relaxing while taking it easy on an off day from work though this music collection could also obviously be enjoyed on more occasions than what I just wrote. I would have to say that Lust For Life (feat the Weeknd), Cherry, Summer Bummer (feat. A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti), Groupie Love (feat. A$AP Rocky), and Coachella-Woodstock In My Mind are some of the songs to listen to right away though I would obviously check out other music videos of other songs from this collection that are featured as there is something for many people on this collection. I would say this music collection of Lust For Life by Lana Del Rey is a sensational music collection to get if you have enjoyed andor listened to Blue Jeans,Burning Desire, andor Young And Beautiful (for the 2013 Great Gatsby soundtrack) (as some of the songs on this Lust For Life Collection have creative music resonances of those songs in an astonishing way).

Perfect for gift

Lana has consistently made high quality, classic music and this album once again raises the bar. Its such a shame that the only people who get awards and recognized today are the ignorant and manufactured artists. There is absolutely no excuse why this album doesnt take home every award possible.

I’m so happy I decided to purchase this!! This is definitely a must if you love Lana. The pictures don’t do it justice in how much detail they put into this. I recently bought her UO Norman record and I paid twice as much just for two pink records and a different cover :/ if you’re thinking about buying this BUY it!! If you wanna buy it buy it ASAP it’s not gonna be here for much longer !!

The album feels more like a step-back to me, in contrast to her other albums Ultraviolence and Honeymoon. Theres some good songs on here, but some bad ones, too, and a few I was indifferent about. This one reminds me a bit like Born to Die, but way less consistent. Worth listening to if youre already a fan of hers, but if this is a new artist for you, I would probably recommend starting with Born to Die instead.
