I loved the look of a single bulb, however these are not suitable as primary illumination as they cast a very yellow-tone light. Id suggest using in a secondary accent lamp rather than as the main source of light.

I purchased these because my previous Edison bulbs (Different brand) were dying at an alarming rate. Over time as they burned out I replaced them with these bulbs, and purchased because I wanted bulbs that lasted longer than 6 months. I was hopeful to not have to worry about replacing these as often. The first bulb burned out in less than 2 months. I hoped it was a fluke. The rest did do better, and none of them lasted less than 6 months, but now 2 years later only 1 of the 12 is still burning. Im only buying Philips or GE bulbs from now on. Both those brands have lasted 5+ years for me so far.

Dont write a lot of reviews but these bulbs deserve one. We put them in black modern carriage style fixtures from Lowes around the exterior of the home. They are really attractive and dont emit glaring LED white light which is so obnoxious. A must is to put them on a dimmer to really take advantage of light softness. These came very well packaged and after putting on five light fixtures I ordered another box for the back of the home. Dont know about longevity but the price point is great. We tried several bulbs from HD and Lowes that are twice as expensive and they were all sub-par in many ways. The color of the bulb, the shape, and the filament style are all very well done. We are very happy to have found these.

Love these light bulbs! They look like Edison bulbs but are energy efficient. I have had them and my light fixtures for almost a year now and have not yet had to replace them. Even when they are off they look really nice and I get compliments on them all the time. They are not super bright so I would not count on a single bulb lighting up a room, but if you have a chandelier or light fixture with multiple bulbs they definitely put off enough light for an area.

Very pleased with these vintage style LEDs. They get the correct color temp for the period look too.

These defiantly are bright LED bulbs which allow a lot of light in my bedroom. I just wish they looked more old school than the obvious LED lines it has been signed with.
